The non-existent orange texture, and when changing the ini document it does not react and is the same way, you just wasted my time. thank you.
very cool friend, substrate is nice, thank you I would like you to help us how we can configure a scene like yours, to do lookdev and have a correct configuration of materials
thanks friend
Hi man, great tutorial How to render this outside the game mode. Any way to bake this simulation?
Hi, your tutorial is amazing. I have a question When you import the hair abc file at around 38 seconds in the video, the attributes come out as vailed. I worked with C4D hair, and please tell me how to get the attributes as vailed
Hi! Unfortunately the native hair from c4d doesn't work. I used Ornatrix
1:52 Creates Hair Shader
What about performance ?
Do u know if it works with an alembic file? Or it has to be a skeletal mesh
Which type of material is this? I can't see substrate type in material setting
Hi, Thanks for nice tutorial, I have a question, How to create caustic for glass with substrace material ?
hey bro I tried making a serum bottle but the lable i have on top is seen inside as refracted which looks really off how did you manage to do yours?
Thank you for the video
love the format. less talking more teaching. look forward to checking out more of your stuff
I really like the way how healights and backlights were made here, I see how much effort was put in here!
You Made My Day Bro Thanks A Lot
Thanks you
You Made My Day Bro
Your tutorials are amazing 😳!!
Brilliant: Finally some proper glass. Reflective and refractive. Subscribed.
1: Very helpful, thank you. 2: I don't know if you check your older videos, but I have a question: If you apply a lot of gravity to the hair, how can you prevent it from clipping into the mesh/skeleton it's supposed to be covering? For example, a ball covered in hair and rolling. The top hair will sink into the ball.
Ball has to be skeletal mesh and then you have to create a groom binding for the ball and apply it with the groom.
Thanks!!!
Nice and concise tutorial! I like it:) When making frosted glass like you were doing in the video, I tend to find the inner object's edge does not get blurred but harsh like 4:08 ruclips.net/video/4yuMwxN9pL0/видео.htmlsi=EtlKGxOQTNFBjyGp&t=249 do you happen to have any solution?
hey man how can I make that neon shader at the beginning of your video?
The choice of music is exquisite, the tutorial in itself is complete, easy to follow and satisfying. Great job ! I’m loving it !
Thank you so much 😀
ooo is this for 5.4?
Thanks! I didnìt try 5.4 yet, but I think it works :)
Amazing, thank you. You can make a see-through white curtain tutorial and render using Pathtracer. ❤❤❤
Thanks for the tip!
❤
Thanks!
Very good!! Was it all done in Unreal?
Thanks! No, Cinema 4D + Redshift
Wanderfull as always!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks again!
Ill be sure to support you once I have my own money. Are you a professional in the field? Since your materials are incredibly high quality
Thanks! I'm a 3D generalist, I work with different programs, included Unreal :)

God of materials in unreal
Thanks man!
Brilliant tips
Glad you liked it
Incredible tutorial!
Thank you!
Such a wonderful tutorial, instant subscribe
Awesome, thank you!
Cool!!! I download the project from your patreon but when I assign material looks strange…. Any suggestions about it??? Thanks 🙏
Hey! Send me an email with a screenshot
Can you please publish an issue about the opacity of the new material system design of substrate - especially after the old material is converted to substrate, the opacity cannot be directly linked. . .
I didn't get any problems with the opacity channel. Can you explan better what you mean?
Can you please teach how you made that 5?
I modeled it in Cinema 4D. I think you can use the Modeling Tool inside Unreal
This is amazing, another Top quality content! Keep it up 💪
Thanks Dani!
could we use the same technique for a normal material on unreal engine a non substrate one ? Thank you
Sure! Connect the nodes into ALBEDO and EMISSIVE channels
Seems like this doesn't necessarily need substrate right? It would work fine in a regular material from what I can tell? I actually avoided a lot of your videos because of Substrate in the title/thumbnail since its not quite ready for production yet. But now I'm thinking I'll go back and check em' out.
The current substrate is not suitable for large-scale local editing scenarios, and does not pose a big problem for product display.
Yes, It works fine with non-substrate materials. You can also apply other technique in my other videos
@user-ev4ud5xs2j I agree...but they work fine in small projects like product visualization and the automotive field
If you're clamping a value between 0 and 1, use the Saturate node (its essentially free on the GPU)
Thanks for the suggestion!
O_o Interesting
