That is correct, sadly I did not finish the run fully, but still pretty solid experience even though some crashes and stuff occured.

@inz002 alright I'm pretty curious about bugs and that sort of stuffs cause I don't have an internet at the moment..

This was on PS4 slim, so... What to keep in mind. Base version of PS4 and PS4 Slim are locked to 30 FPS with heavy framerate drops. Game loads extremely slow on HDD and SSD(if you have one) installed on your PS4. Expect a crash in every hour or two, even on the patched versions game derps sometimes and crashes. Exclusive bugs you might encounter, dialog playback failing, collision going nuts(still happens on PS4 patched sometimes, but more rarely). Some side quests with pickups failing and quest markers failing. (Main missions story should work fine) Mission GPS line sending you to god knows where. Reboot your PS4 every couple of hours as map can deload heavily, reducing graphical fidelity for everything(very rarely happens on current ps5 versions). Incase you are gonna go for PS4 Pro and PS5, it should be 60 but nowhere as good looking as patched. Have not tried PS5 unpatched yet so cannot comment on load times and crashes. Best of luck, the game was playable with what I experienced, but it was definitely harder to play than patched versions due to the framerate sometimes dropping to 7 FPS. So expect a PowerPoint presentation at some point. Just restart PS4 if it goes too crazy. Idk if it helps tho :'D

Hi, Mister Hogscraper. Firstly, I want to thank you for commenting on this video. 1) Landing the frog jumps seems to be one of the hardest things to do after actually taking off. Generally I avoid landing using rolling due to the perfectness of the timing needed in general. There are multiple zones in the game with "rubber" floors. Usually these places are related to mission markers but not exclusively to it. So I tend to use those mostly when doing jumps during my speedruns due to avoiding risks in this already too long game. Could you please provide me extra context regarding am I pressing L3 to start or pushing forward on left stick. Because all frog jumps start with positioning and secondly pressing the aim(L2). When pressing the aim(L2), you need to press at the same time focused shot(R3) or Weapon Wheel(L1). Roll landing Landing from focused shot is easier, landing from weapon wheel is sometimes nearly impossible and trust me when I say it, 50% or more times I absolutely fail at roll landing. 2) Both horizontal and Vertical camera angles dictates the direction of the Frog jump. This is really hard to explain in general as the only way to figure stuff out is trial and error due to it being a highly specific glitch. 3) I have my maddest respects to you doing this on a Standard PS4. Due to the framerate being 30 fps. This version of the game has the worst frog jump performances in general as all frog jumps are heavily framerate dependent, this affects all the frog jumps, normal, focus shot boosted and weapon wheeled. This all adds up to the already difficult glitch to pull off even more difficulty. Even after massive amounts of time messing around with the game, I am having lots of difficulties getting perfect results on the PS4 slim that I have(Compared to PS4 Pro, PS5 and ofc PC). PS! One thing I learned when messing around with frog jumps on different framerates is that the Frog Cancel shown at the end of the video is PC only due to requiring over 60 fps and only PC can go over it. But as they say Practice Makes Perfect - Or well my channel name in this case. Now you might ask: Why did I write PS4 verified, when it's most difficult to do on a Slim and Standard PS4, because I have seen people do some incredible things regarding Frog Jumps on youtube using a regular PS4.

@@inz002 Wow, thanks for the fast reply! Doing the jump took forever to figure out but I can get it going no problem. Aiming and landing without dying is the big issue. I watched a couple videos on this and yours was the last one where I figured it out so I think I might have mixed up comments. One of the other guys said in comments that without using the left stick just before the jump meant you would always die on landing but doing so made the roll easier. Never saw any impact so I think it might just be confirmation bias. I've already done everything there is to do in the game multiple times so finding little things like this got me back into the game using them like challenges to beat. I also have the game on Steam so I might try downloading that again and see if landing or aiming is easier. Thanks again for the awesome video!

Sadly I cannot verify the claim of doing using movement direction to guide your roll. Maybe I have been doing it subconsciously, but cannot verify the claim. What I can give you though is the next best thing, some frog spots give you invincibility with landing, but they are trickier to use. ruclips.net/video/hMNPlzppj-Y/видео.html - This is one of them, but it is really tricky to get the positioning right. *You dont have to be on the mission to use it* PS, whenever doing frog jumps on the pc, try to tweak your graphics settings for a higher or lower framerate. Just have fun with the thing, do not over think it. It's a learning journey.

There is massive amounts of cut content that they never finished, who knows maybe they did have plans to use these locations and didn't have time to finish it up. Only the Devs know why that door was kept locked forever.

Hey, atleast I am now gathering some honest feedback from people struggling to figure stuff out. Some frogs are simple, some frogs are really hard and specific. My bad for showing the specific frog jumps first since those are the best to learn the craft.

Thank you for your lovely comment. I have beaten the sawmill horde only with an superior axe, no cheats, no glitches, no nothing(head on, no sneakign around). I have spent 1200 hours in this game, there is not much I have not seen. Frog jumping is fun for me, I get it from both perspectives. Glitches are interesting for some, for others not really. I have done a 100% speedrun of the game in under 16 hours with only using 2 cheese spots for the hordes(no other glitches), not that it matters, I could easily beat any horde even with limiting myself to limited resources.

I usually do not like to post unedited style, since I am not a big yapper, but time to learn new tricks I guess. :D

Honestly, I cannot wait to start messing around with Eldevin again at some point.

I can drive, into rocks, trees and every death trap possible. Driving decently is for people who are good at gaming x'D

I was surprised that this worked, having previously mostly traveled only with cars due to the jankyness of the motorbikes. Once I learned how to play more with bikes due to TLAD, it was a whoa moment for me.
