My only note about the English text is that "surrogate" in English inevitably (to me anyway) makes one think of surrogate mothers. This I think adds credence to the idea that they were "surrogates" for Fia to gestate their runebaby?

I thought of this in the final part of the video, what if he grew a bit of the corpse in to something bigger so he could graft on to himself so he could become more of a ''pure blood'' and return together ( him and the piece that was grafted in to him ). But the curse of grafting was created by the corpse itself starting to spread as a cancer ( cause he grafted it in to something as a growing point) and started to corrupt everything around that location. Or even growing the full body and graft is head on to it

The thing I do t understand is how his body is so incredibly huge, in the cinematic it shows that he’s about the size of the black knife assassins which is about the size of the tarnished

I don’t know if anyone has noticed it before (someone probably has) but the relatively small detail of the giant bracelets on godwyns corpse intrigues me. Someone had to have created them specifically for the prince of death, since metal doesn’t tend to grow or expand on its own. It’s obvious to me now that there were people who worshipped him after his corpse’s transformation, but what bugs me is how they got up there to put the bracelets on him. Like, dude, you’d have needed 6 or 7 fire giants stacked on each others shoulders to get that up there and there (was) only one left. How tf did they do it?

I think Godwyn separated himself the same way miquela and marika did to try and become a god and upon his soul dying all his peices transformed.. his body being carved and the other peices just old sites of grace and therefore “un- writhing”

The reason why we would wake were we do would make sense if we assume that the chapel of anticipation was originally a museulum, or the original one, that was grounded as all the peninsulas have them but the starting peninsula and the corpse in the the chapel is the reason it was grounded and Marika placed a golden scion to protect as it was grounded
