Cheers Graham, it was a good camp that one, however I can't say the same for the festival 😒 weather was crap, cold and mostly wet, the festival itself was great, on the second night I booked into a B&B less than 8 minutes away from the festival, I was in a lot of pain from my knee, it gave way & I fell, I have made the decision to not camp anymore due to this, no need to put myself through torture when trying to enjoy myself, the bad knee is from an injury received back in March 2022 when a clown pulled out in front of me at a junction, the rest is history.

@MrArunsikri hi thanks for your comment, I'm not sure what the difference is between them, apart from colour schemes and materials used, I think the stealth might shorter and lighter, yes my exhaust is the Diablo 👍

You can't go wrong with a fuel exhaust, there is another you could look into, try Black Widow Exhausts, I have that on my CRF300L, however it is significantly louder 🔊

No, I never got a new kickstand, for me it's okay, however you need to be careful with the camber when parking up, it is something I will do in the future, but right now it's okay, I have found no issues at all, in fact I find riding the bike more comfortable to handle now, thanks for your comment & hope this information is useful for you 👍

Yes mate, its a Coleman Festival Blackout 3, cracking tent, will do a review on it soon after the Lightweight Adventure Festival, I still have the Olpro Aberley, will use that when I'm on the Tiger 900RP, it's still a great tent, just a bit too bulky for the CRF300L.

You'll love that tent Colin, when I was at Skye, it was a godsend preventing the midges from bothering me, the tent has a mesh door to it & I could sit very comfortably in the porch area with chair & table & still plenty of room, the other lads were not so lucky lol.......SUMMER? what is summer? is that that thing above us with blue sky & feels warm lol ..... we were lucky that weekend, heading past your way this weekend mate.

We were lucky on this occasion Shane, lets hope its gonna be a dry one at least if no sunshine, your welcome for the shoutout, stick together matey....one more sleep!! lol

It really is a good camera, glad I invested in it for the LWA fest, the X2 is still a great camera if settings are done correctly, it's best to put the EV to -1, I don't know what settings you had yours on but you seem to have cracked it, great quality footage, not long to go now Shane, we are going on a ride to some trails when we are down, your welcome to come along, would be good to have you with us.

To be honest, I don't think 30mm is enough for you height, what is your inside leg measurement? I'm 29 inches inside leg, I'm on the balls of my feet after lowering, it's far better but not great, if lowering further than 30mm then you will definitely need to lower front forks by 10mm or more, hope this helps 👍

@@mototripperuk Thank you. I've got a reply from someone else who said it should be the 62.5mm (so the large one), hopefully you get the same measure :D I also do not feel comfortable without a lock on the gas tank, some stupid kid could put anything in there while I'm parked.

@@Tony-kf8qy yeh, very true about the tank lock 🔐 let me know how you get on if you could, I'm thinking you may have to drill a breather hole somewhere if the locking cap doesn't vent

@@mototripperuk From what I read the locking cap does vent. The only thing I've read is that sometimes it leaks (even though it has a mechanism that is supposed to prevent that), but I'm using my 300L for touring so it shouldn't be too much of an issue, I don't plan to drop it 20x per day trying backflips on the track haha.

I've not looked into other brands too much, however I did get a link from a guy in a Facebook group, the ones he showed where heat resistant rubber, including the fixings, but looked small, two of them would have done the job better than the Rhinowalk, thanks for commenting 👌

For me I didn't need to change the stand, the bike was at a good enough angle to be OK, when you get your links it will recommend that you lower the front suspension by 10mm in the instructions, I tested my bike in this video without doing it, however that is a personal preference, it could be different for each rider, so do as I did in this video and test it on a short ride with enough corners to see how the bike reacts, the instructions are detailed and fairly easy to understand if you do need to drop the front, just for reference I'm 5ft 7ish and weigh 14 stone, thanks for your comment 👍

300 midi if I remember, went for that cos it looked good, fuel exhausts are amazing and at a good price, you can't go wrong 😉

To me it feels great off road, but for longer journeys it gets to the stage of numb bum time, over time the seat does get softer, I got mine from new, it's nearly done 900 miles, still a bit on the hard side for longer the journeys

I got mine new from Two Wheels Edinburgh Chris, there are some on facebook marketplace but I don't trust it as far as I can throw it to be honest, keep looking is the best advice I can give you, hope you find what you're looking for bud, all the best 👍🏻

Managed to find one in nice condition with 800 miles has a few extras moto x muffler skid plate hand and frame guards new maxxis offroad tyres getting delivered end of this week just need to pass ma theory on saturday n get ma test done

Yes it's been used in heavy rain and wind, it held up well, can definitely recommend it 👍

I found them to be a hit n miss, I'm no longer using the Action 3 and that setup, I'm using the insta360 Ace Pro now along with my Cardo Packtalk Edge, no mic needed, the Cardo pairs up to the Ace Pro.

@@mototripperuk godammit, I've just bought an action 3 and a Cardo Edge.

The Action 3 is still a good camera if you set it up right for vlogging, I would recommend getting the Rode AI Micro, it's so easy to use.
