Our cat get's caught having a little private time with a stuffed polar bear. I don't think he knows he has been fixed.

Cat Attack

Cat attacking Amy under a blanket. She had been messing with the cat a few minutes before. She was holding him under the blanket against his will. He escaped and now he is seeking his revenge.
being a freshmen in this band was incredible and very difficult, but i'm better for it.
KING
É tão lindo esse homem roncando
gosh I miss this some days. I was part of this group. It was my senior year
So much here, incredible intensity level from this DM, control and passion. The kids locked into everything he was doing on the stand.
It sounds like a lion
My god, that trumpet feature. This show is a design masterclass that got paired with the most talented group in the country, love when that happens
🤔😂
It blows my mind, how a director is able to get a HS group to perform this well. DCI I understand....but this is high school.
It blows my mind, too. I think it just comes down to the work the members are willing to put in and the talent of the staff. Avon, I’m sure, works very hard and everyone knows their staff is amazing. My band back in the day was decently successful. Definitely not on this level, for sure, but we had 2 hour practices 3 or 4 days every week with 10 hour days on Saturdays. So Avon, I’m sure does that at least or more. I think Broken Arrow practices year round.
Avon's best championship winning performance of the three years, easily. I'd go as far as to say no champion since has matched in terms of sheer raw power, performance level and confidence. The Woodlands 2013 came close. A once-in-a-decade (generation?) band
It’s crazy. I’m watching the current year right now on a stream and just heard this from Vista Ridge.
I think Hebron may have passed this show in quality this year.
@@thedude9001 were they at nationals this year right? I know there was a band that played these tunes but I thought it was vista ridge
@@RVVDont Vista Ridge played the same piece (Samuel Barbers 1st Symphony) and no, Hebron was not at grand nationals this year.
Had Hebron gone to grand nationals in 2021, I think they would’ve challenged this. Two absolutely phenomenal shows
This was the perfect design for these Barber works. Between LD Bell 03 and this, I'll never be disappointed.
mt carmel 2018 has same ballad
LOL! DM loses it from 7:28-7:48; How long did he work, dream, or plan those sequence of jitters at home when no1 was watching?
that DM dude...INTENSE!
Yikes! 8:04-8:06 at the 40 with the color guard and altos...near catastrophe; glad they pulled it off.
awesome show! huge fan.
That's me on the 5 at 4:23
what a beautiful ballad oh my god!!!
God bless the person who recorded this!
Wow!! What a performance. The music selection and execution is outstanding. One of the best, still to this day.
There have been some great performances at BOA over the years, but this show is a BEAST. It's a pure masterpiece!
Wow, Cadets 2013 stole a lot from this show. Like, a LOT.
Well, both shows were based off the same pieces of music, so yeah they're going to similar... Just because Broken Arrow played Rite of Spring in their 2009 show doesn't mean that The Blue Devils stole from them in their 2013 show when they also used it. The same applies here.
The clarinets sound beautiful at the beginning of "Ave Maria." Very pretty. And I love the "God Said" movement; it reminds me of "Officer Krupke!"
How is this the highest scoring high school band show ever? The design sucks.
That is one fucking good drum major
YES!!!
This performance brings back memories. I was in the Avon High School marching band in 2009. I was only a Freshman. It was so exciting and long hours of practice were put into this show : ) I can see myself in this video: 2nd row of xylophones, I'm the last one on the left next to the golden chimes. At 3:03 you can see me move from the xylophone to the golden chimes to play a few bars and then go back : )
Nice to meet you, I joined Avon marching band this year!
that trumpet soli at 1:50 tho......... so good. i'll stop watching this the day i die
Holly crap they pulled off the Cadets 2013 trumpet feature 4 years before the cadets did it, and it sounded better!
It's based on SCV 1999, though the trumpet feature in this specific show makes my life.
Chadwell J I know people say its based on SCV, but I feel the template is remolded every once in a while. The Avon version is the new model. People say SCV 99 is based on Star 93. One day someone will remake the Avon version creating the new paradigm for medea.
I know this comment is 4 years old, but I can't help it right now. We should never compare top high school marching band with DCI World Class corps. That's like comparing the Clemson football team with the Carolina Panthers....they are completely different worlds. Same goes with competitive high school marching band and DCI. Avon High School is one of my favorite bands to watch, and they do well for their ability. The same goes for The Cadets. Let's keep them both separate.
I will probably get a lot of back lash for saying this. But anyone saying that a high school marching band cannot be as good as a drum corps has obviously never seen this band.
true!
+Cj Lorenz thanks bro lol
Helps that the director of Avon is the brass caption head at Carolina Crown lmao but either way
Lanthaniel harloff is one of our assistant directors webb is the head director
Zach Calhoon My bad
This school is to DCI what college football is to the NFL....great recruiting stock! these kids are great! first time seeing a "BOA" competitor...I can see a lot of DCI in the BOA competitors....same spirit of excellence, and hard work to get your show right...I just might check out a BOA show this summer
except boa is a lot better than dci in my opinion. i went to a dci comp last year and saw crown perform. i prefer boa over dci.
***** Why is that? Not looking to argue, just want to know why.
cooler music, better props. woodwinds. better sound it isn't all brass
I can agree with you on the first two things. DCI is becoming a "let's see who's show concept is the weirdest!" Kind of competition. :/
yeah like crown's show last year. or cavelier's show this year. can't wait to go see dci monday though. caveliers. blue devils. spirit of atlanta. and phantom. plus some open class bands.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah!
oh..ok. cool!
Best show ever
avon 2009 and cadets 2013 both "came from" star of indiana 93 and vanguard 99. this past season's cadets show was in honor of star 93, iirc.
So much mad.
So this is where cadets 2013 came from?
gotta love the "sound wave" at 3:16 - sounds and looks alot like homestead's sound wave in their 2008 show...
I'm Sydney, a flute, so basically the opposite of your insturment! But I have a sister who is a junior clarinet this year too and I'm enjoying it so far. Of course, I'm a little hesitant for band camp, but I can't wait for competitions to start!
what instrument you play? I'm kevin, Im a junior tuba marcher for avon. You're in for the best year of your life and many more to come. I'll see you basically tomorrow, first day of summer marching. Good luck!!! Stay strong fight through and Play hard!!!
Didn't these guys get second in state finals, but first at BOA Grand Nationals?
goddamn, that baritone line must've been unbelievable that year.
3 different soloists.
i go to avon
It took me awhile to figure it out but I totally agree
I was trying to think who you reminded me of - then it hit me. If you don't channel Phantom Regiments Tommy Feagan from 2000 then no one else ever will - Outstanding job.!
The ending must have rang for at least 8 seconds. I'm so pissed off I wasn't there for that. That was the year I contemplated going....
carefull, that can kill ya dad...
the only thing that drives me nuts about avon is there anoying band moms i know there just trying to be supportive but geez
If the trumpets at my school were given that score in band camp and told to play that perfectly they would've quit then. That was impressive!
Can't wait for the show of 2013! It will be my freshman year :)
