I would advise against taking choline bitartrate as scientific research suggests that it is metabolized by gut bacteria, leading to an increase in a substance called TMA (trimethylamine), which is further metabolized in the liver and can increase LDL (low-density lipoprotein) or "bad" cholesterol levels. Instead, try to obtain choline from sources such as eggs or in the form of phosphatidylcholine, as studies have not shown an increase in LDL cholesterol levels with these sources

Some of the articles stated that consuming Turmeric in large quantities (pills form) for medicinal purposes is unsafe for the fetus. Anybody has comments or experience taking turmeric on regular basis throughout the course of pregnancy? What is the dosage you guys are taking? The same goes with the Milk Thistle (silymarin). Currently, my wife is taking 1000mg Turmeric and 300mg of Milk Thistle daily, is it alright? We tried consulting with our doctor seems like he doesn't know about these traditional herbs, as such, he won't recommend any. Thanks in advance!
