I play on PCVR with a Quest 3 via Steam link, but I played PCVR on a quest 2 for years before that and it was always a great experience. As long as your PC has decent specs you should be able to run showdown fine. I'm on a 3070ti and I never have issues. Hope this helped! Thanks for watching 😁

That's understandable, I definitely feel like I have to adjust it every time I put the headset on. However, unlike the quest pro and Q2, adjustments are MUCH easier on the Q3 IMO. So I guess that's the trade off 😅 thanks for your comment!

hey there. its not that i want to replace my monitors, just when it comes to buying behavior, that i would do it the same way. meaning: people usally buy a monitor and keep it for years without the need to replace them if they are not broken, you rarely have beeing getting a new monitor every 1 or 2 years. but when it comes to vr headset, i see a lot of people getting a newer one every 12-24 months. so my plan is: get a good one for gaming, without many downsides or problems. use it for pcvr gaming untill some generations have past and theres a big leap between the quest 3 and the, lets say, quest 5 by that point. and no, iam not talking passthrough, i talking pvcr, max res black line between pixel visability and thats whats confusing me because some people say: "SDE is so good and minimal, that its like a reverb g2" while others say "coming from Q2 and the q3 has WAY more visible sde, with lenses that clear and no blurryness, youd need 2880x2800 to not see SDE. battery life wont be an issue, planing on wired anyway.@@Dom-Snow

considering how fast download speeds are nowadays, it's not worth the money to have more space than that IMO you are going to be satisfied with whatever apps fit on that much space before we start needing more, there will be a new model of the quest

Yup I agree with hummus on this one, I have like 7 games installed and I still have 50gb left, if I really need the space i can uninstall something I'm not playing at the moment

@@jimmyoats Dungeons of Eternity Beat Saber Walkabout Mini golf Zenith: the last city Cubism Little Cities Pavlov Shack beta VR chat Nock And a couple little app lab demos so actually it's over 10 applications in total and I have a few recordings on the headset so that takes up some storage and I have 46 gb left over. It may become an issue in the future but I also play a lot of PCVR so it doesn't bother me as much.

I recorded it on the headset itself! When I hit record while in passthrough mode, it just shows up in the recording. Perhaps it's because I have developer mode enabled? Hope this helped

Thanks! I think as long as you can afford it without going bankrupt, it is a very impressive device! Playing with friends and family is the reason I own so many headsets 😅

@@Dom-Snow make sure to check out bonelab fusion, it's a multiplayer mod and it's pretty much seamless and adds stuff such as multiple carts in monogon motorway depending on the player count. And sure it does suck that the SDK still isn't out, but it's being worked on and is just harder then expected. Great stuff!
