Hello phrala. I don't think you right about the Hungary roma im from czech and slovak and we call them UNGRIKE roma (Hungry roma) or vlachika roma. Czech and Slovak Roma like me call there self's as Romungre that means Roma from Romania because we believe that we came to Czechoslovakia from Romania. As you said in Czech and Slovakia there are Vlach and Roma but we Roma call are self's Romungre roma from Romania.and the Czech and Slovak Vlach are from Hungary because as you know all roma in hungary are vlach so we call them UNGRIKE roma Vlachy

I thought Romani ppl where highly discriminated against, I think even right now in some places they still face discrimination and I don't think I've ever heard the be called by a specific racial category more like the slur being used to categorize them which is pretty sad if ya think about it not to sound ignorant but they it's like how white ppl used to act during Jim Crow where everything was segregated in a sense.
