      It's wild that it was only an average size among the ones at that spot. There were some so big they gave me a jump-scare me when I saw them.

      Yeah both are so cool. Unfortunately the sleepers are like 95% easier to find at night, which makes fishing a lot harder.

    Yeah I can't stand when people don't give you space when there's actually allot of space they can go rather than being right up on you. I could understand if there wasn't much space to begin with and allot of people where around but that beach looked like it had a bunch of space they could have went rather than being near the fishermen. Plus it's a hazard because you could accidentally hook someone because they didn't have the brain cells just to give you some space to throw your rod.

      I agree. SO many people out there just not giving a crap that there's a whole world going on around them. I totally get that, especially on vacation, but when they are this obvious, and when they're putting their kids in danger with their lack of attention or care, it's seriously annoying.

      @@keepinitreel4306 never caught a leopard. I've only caught striped and Northern searobin species. I might be able to get a bighead without too much travel.

      @@johnaufderheide6117 Ah that makes sense. I used to catch monster-sized Striped Searobin in the Long Island Sound. I often fished a double bucktail jig for flounder, and I'd get two of those big searobins on at the same time, opening their "wings" up against the current, pulling in opposite directions...the fights were pretty epic sometimes.

    Love fishing FL. That nurse shark was the size that I would want to catch once. Get a photo and hope not to have to deal with any bigger ones😆. Can't wait to see what else you catch on this trip.

      I should have called this video "Florida Fright". 😁 Night fishing in this part of Florida is spooky because there are so many gators, coyotes, bears and wolves (there are still some red wolves in Florida - one literally bumped into me once when I was deep into the woods looking for a remote fishing pond). And they all get more active at night.

    That looks just like a Warmouth.

      They're very similar, but you can see the differences when they're side-by-side. And there are structural/morphological differences you have to zoom in on, like Warmouth having 3 anal fin spines, while Ozark Bass have 6.

      Yep, 7 for the day, abut twice that for the trip. And I missed out on at least that many more. The darters are insane in Missouri-Arkansas. Day 4 is hopping across north Arkansas, looking for my first Ozark Bass.

    I tried that spot last Sat and got straight up skunked. I was using finesse worms and small whopper plopper. Think I need to get some inline spinners when I go back. Really fishy looking spot just no bites.
