Is there a book in legends set 100 or 1000 years before the events of episode one that's about the jedi order? About how the jedi became what they are etc. ?

most confusing on screen display ever - cant see titles of things

I don't like Disney Star Wars at all (except for some stuff like Rogue One, Rebels, Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi, some comic about Darth Vader, and that's probably it). But I really want to know about the books that are essential to the whole 6 films. Like Darth Bane, The Tenebrous Way, Darth Plagueis, Cloak of Deception, (Idk if the Darth Maul novels are a good option or even if they are that important, or if they contradict the Clone Wars tv series), Labyrinth of Evil, Revenge of the Sith, Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader, Kenobi, Han Solo Trilogy, and Shadows of the Empire. Most of my concern is about before episode 1, are the Old Republic novels that important, or just with the 2 kotor games I'm in? What about Lando Adventures trilogy or Han Solo Adventures trilogy?

I can’t believe what they did to Vern in the Acolyte. It makes me not want to finish the books. Why would they turn such a popular character into a villain? There’s no reason for that. Why can’t we have heroes anymore?

I like that old guy he’s actually kind of funny. I’m not sure if he’s like funny funny unless he’s a comedian I don’t. I don’t even know if he’s ever did any acting, but he’s kind of funny. I like him. Maybe they should put him in a movie see how he can act and maybe keep that comical sense of humor. Why he’s trying to act and I probably go see one of his movies ?

I have finally gotten over the psychic trauma of the sequel trilogy, I got my figure of the Ronin near me to give me strength , and am wanting and prepared to start checking out this new Disney approved canon to see if I can find something to enjoy. Light of the Jedi it is lol
