So, if the rumors are true, one of the lead devs behind Deadlock is Icefrog, the main guy in charge of balancing dota. That's why, although there are plenty of elements reminiscent of other mobas, Deadlock shares the most design sensibility with dota. Dota with guns is inaccurate, but dota as a hero shooter is fairly on point. Personally, I'd say its Dota meets Overwatch with a sprinkling of Warframe. As for the gameplay itself, you didn't do the tutorial and thus had 0 conception of last hitting and denying or the shop in lane, leading to you mega losing lane. You also didn't read your items to see what stats or effects they give you and had a weird messed up build, and you didn't read your abilities either so your usage of them was all over the place. And yet you still won. Seems legit. I would, however, recommend at least using community builds to start with. When you open the shop you can select "Browse Builds" in the top right corner and peruse community builds. While they vary in quality, and will often be geared around a specific playstyle the guide doesn't even explain, they are still better than the current default builds, and a lot better than what a new player who doesn't read will come up with on the fly.

Best advice I can give you mate.. is this.. When you die.. click on the portrait of the guy who killed you.. READ what their hero does.. while you wait for respawn.. Allmost NEVER buyback unless they are in your base killing your towers and rax.. When you die.. Spend time reading up on THEIR heroes.. and YOUR heroes.. and YOUR/their items.. :P since your new.. your spending 5-10 mins of every game dead.. read up on whats killing you while being dead.. ;)

At your bracket Medusa is quite hard to counter, but the more you play the more you find out how to countee heroes with items that are within your role. But once Medusa becomes too fat the only counter against her is the Holy Bible and some prayers to our dear lord Jesus Christ.

A title talking about a "new" update months after it came out, not reading almost anything and going straight into mid with clinkz, then buying a fucking clarity and no stat items in midlane, barely using spells and sitting on full mana, rushing arcane boots (which are frankly terrible for a mid clinkz) only to never use them, and a lot of just kinda wandering around aimlessly looking for something to do while often not even pressing all your buttons when something does happen. Good to see you back, lol. Though I will say the most triggering thing from that first game was you, with aegis and under almost 0 actual threat, ran like a coward just because they had detection of you while your team was going in. I get not using all your buttons, you have a lot of them and hitting buttons can be hard. But come on, if you are gonna take aegis make use of it. Fortunately the true carry, warlock, had no such issues. Still not the biggest fan of turbo. I get that you like it, but the balance is kinda whack. What I really miss though are the games where you had a coach. Outside of just going a lot better, having someone to talk to also made the stream more entertaining.
