These guys are for real. They then went on to induce the greatest player on the planet to pop a wayward fly ball to sickeningly be hauled down by ex-Dodger Verdugo . But we all know what happened after that. Now that said every game was close after that. The Yankees were not “not on the same level “as the Dodgers. The Dodgers weren’t beating up on the Yankees like 13-2 or 11-5 or 7-0… No these games were all pretty close except for the lone N.Y. victory. So in other words a different outcome here and there. A couple of better decisions from their atrocious manager and we’re maybe talking differently now….. idk but this doesn’t sound to me like a team that can’t play the game…. N.Y. loses one World Series and suddenly their whole current history looks hopeless!!! …… Can’t disagree more. I do agree though with the “Where do we go to now”question ?… With all the outrageous amounts of capital the other teams are heaping on free Agents? This could maybe finally prove to be N.Y.’s undoing by being badly effected in a game that they in effect were highly responsible for creating …..
