Roger Federer's cellphone keeps ringing at press conference
at 11:30pm after his match against Grigor Dimitrov.
His reactions (thanks for the subtitle translation from RF.commer): "this isn't possible, this has never happened before..."
Second time he said 'it's too late to be calling'
Then "you know what, I'm going to turn my phone off" "This can't be happening, it's so embarrassing." Then he was asked "Do you know who it is?" he says, "It's not important, at this hour, no one can be important."
Then at the end "Now I have to make a call."

Rafa Nadal 51 seconds' serve preparation

To be fair, I include the previous point in the video but it was not particularly physical and Nadal's serve preparation had been repeatedly over 30-40 seconds in this match. What was Rafa doing in ...

    Just see his arrogance. I am the best for the last 10 years. But the fact is that he didnt make even one semi final in a slam between 1999-2002. Even in 2003, he won Wimbledon beating unseeded Philopoussis, but couldn't even come to quarters in any of slams. Suddenly the mono effects have disappeared after his nemesis Nadal lost early in French open and skipped Wimbledon. He is the weakest era vulture without a shade of doubt. LoL 😂😂😂😂

    • @cricketcrazysanki
      @cricketcrazysanki 25 дней назад

      By that logic everyone's a weak era vulture. Why did Djokovic not backout when he saw Anderson/Berettini /Kyrgios in final because they were not top 3? Do you expect Nadal to backout after seeing Puerta/Berdych/Ferrer/Anderson in final?

    • @michael8597
      @michael8597 25 дней назад

      @@cricketcrazysanki Anderson was the fifth seed in 2018 Wimbledon and he eliminated Federer, World no.1 in quarters. Before beating Anderson, Novak, 12th seed, beat Nadal, 2nd seed in semi finals. Similarly, Berretini was seeded No. 7 at Wimbledon, 2021. He beat Hurcakz who bageled Federer in quarters. Novak beat Shapalov, 10th seed in semi finals. The only unseeded player Novak beat was Kyrgois. But Kyrgois came to the finals only because Nadal shied away from facing him in semi finals claiming he cannot win two matches in a row. Novak beat 9th seed Norrie in semi finals. This is unlike Federer beating outside top 100 Philopoussis in Wimbledon 2003, 52nd ranked Bagdhdatis, Gonzalez or even Safin who was unseeded when he faced Federer. Federer also beat 28th ranked Soderling in 2009 French open. LoL 🤣🤣 In semi finals he beat players like Bjorkman, Grosjean etc., in slams.

    In around a minute, Federer managed to serve four back to back aces to close out the game despite being two points down. In the same amount of time, you'd still see Djokobitch bouncing the ball around and attempting to serve for the first time in the game.

    Safin the only one to beat Federer at his peak in a Grand Slam and the only one I actually think had the arsenal to really do it, along with Nalbandian, I mean, the only ones capable of catching Roger on an inspired day playing 10/10 and still snatch a victory from him on the fast courts at those times. I can't think any others. It's 2023, everyone else I've watched over all these years would only beat Federer from 2003-2007 if he was injured or something. Or if he was facing Nadal on clay.

    if u wonder why many tennis players dislike Rafael Nadal here is the reason!!, he sure can play tennis!, but will never be truly great cause to be great u have to have the whole package, not just win trophies! do not deserv goat not even close! Nadal seek some professional help, these rituals are not needed, just play the game, Roger didnt need them and he won alot!

    The commentators already say it brilliantly in this video. I dislike it when players take so much time before serving, like Nadal, Djokovic, Cilic. Thank god they have introduced the shot clock, but 30 seconds is still a very long time.
