Wanted to wait for the full season to come out so I could binge it, but I couldn't help myself and caught up on the anime. I need to stop watching these with comments full of spoilers but I can't help myself 😭 loves this show. I'm gonna watch the next episodes and then binge the whole series. Same with some other anime that just came out

So, he has a long way to go and I don't see enough episodes in this season to get there if he is going to become something better than the piece of garbage that he is so far. The guy starts out as a piece of filth, racist, mage supremacist, brutal, sadistic bully. The only way he could possibly some off as a worse piece of excrement than he is now is if they showed him doing SA on someone or possibly owing a slave. He was out for blood and not just to kill will, to torture and hurt him as much as he could in the process. I would not have been surprised if Will had really ended up maiming or killing him in the fight in order to survive because this guy was attempting cold blooded murder. Something real dramatic and powerful needs to happen to make any kind of redemption arc anywhere near believable. People don't get past that level of scummy human being without something on the order of a near death experience or divine intervention. Oh, and replying to people with a dramatic condescending attitude shows a glaring lack of awareness of your audience. Might want to work on that if you want to be taken seriously and gain success in the public eye.

There are two possibilities I want to see since this didn't happen as predicted. 1.) tomoki basically gets bum rushed the minute makoto finds out what this guy is trying to do. 2.) makoto basically injures the hero without even trying at 10% in the beginning and only starts getting a little serious after the fact. You know like roughly about 20% seriousness as if he was saitama.

It isn't really obvious in the anime, but Tomoki's charm ability is insidious. The charm is strong enough to overpower anyone weaker than Tomoki, and it quickly erodes the target's morality and personality to becoming a simp for Tomoki that will do anything for him. For people that are stronger, it still has an effect. If you stay near him long enough even people that are stronger or protected from charm will fall prey to Tomoki's charm. Makoto can detect and neutralize the curse (Tomoki's charm is a curse), which most people can't. Tomoe isn't immune to Tomoki, just powerful enough that she isn't affected by brief contact with him. Eventually she would be charmed if she stayed around him, or Makoto didn't periodically break the curse.
