I was watching it today. As a adult, i see things differently! I don't like the mom to much! Also why would you want your kids to babysat with babysitter instead of their dad? one thing i notice alot parents spend so much time at work an the kids are always with babysitters! You think if she was really looking out for her kids happiness, she would of let the dad take them

The movie was meh for sure. Not good. But I kinda like Jack and Louis’ friendship. It felt oddly wholesome.

We used to foster and my wife went to see the movie with a friend. I stayed at home not being a lover of the genre. Another of her friends, Vanessa, dropped by during the evening. I was on my computer so she spoke to our youngest, with whom she had an affinity for. Vanessa - "Hi Shea, where's your mum?" Shea "At the pictures." V "What has she gone to see?" S "Fat Tom of the opera."

This movie made me fall in love with music. I’ve seen the stage show twice, it was good. But there are just things done in the film that can’t possibly be done on a stage, and the actors who played the phantom on stage just didn’t give me that overwhelming sense of heartbreak that Gerard’s phantom did (when he picked up the rose on the roof and was shaking and holding back tears, always makes me cry) And the movie incorporates this kind of “rock opera” sound (that amazing guitar solo in the scene where the phantom first takes Christine down to his layer). And the story line in the movie just worked better. Im sorry but I couldn’t disagree with this dude more. This movie was an absolute treasure

This movie shows psychopaths are born. How everyone ignores it. All these school massacres are due to psychopathy. Not weapons. Anything can be a weapon. It’s the psycho behind that weapon. Whether it’s Kevin, a police officer or a military man.

This film holds a special place in my heart. Mesmerised by most of the musical numbers and it’s captivating. And it’s how I fell in love with POTO (for 10 years) though it has a number of flaws here and there. Personally, I feel the film and Broadway versions have their own aesthetics telling the story. Still, I love both versions.

I never seen the phantom of the opera 9n stage, I watched this movie first as I hear lots of people really liked it, but I really struggled paying attention! I tried really hard to like it but I couldn't, I only wish there was LESS singing and MORE talking I think the. I would be able to really pay attention.

My own headcannon about whether history was altered in this movie was that it wasn't. Things were the way they were because Bill and Ted interfered (ie, Bill and Ted's interference had been written into the timeline already.) As a result, them going back in time did nothing. Then again, this movie isn't meant to be taken too seriously

I was 10 when it came out and I liked it and remember it being well liked among other kids. Haven't seen it since and I'll keep it that way. It's probably best viewed through a child's eyes. Same director of not I think it's a mistake to compare a movie like this to Godfather.

To Be Honest Gurad Butlers voice is not that bad and it was all andrew loylld webbers fault no office I comprehend your opions but this movie is not SO bad I think its kind of uniquc on how they did the set and the makeup because i feel like that he would be dead if his difigurement was worse i feel like they just tryed to make it more realalistic. just hear me out, not everything about this movie is wrong I think you should watch it just one more time and see my reasons.

This is a movie we’re I disagree with critics, this movie is funny because of the stupidity, I like how Adam Sandler played his sister and him, I thoroughly enjoyed it, was it the best Adam Sandler movie? No. However it was funny.

I think instead of judging how the film was produced really put yourself in Gérard Butler's shoes in this role. I mean this role in general is hard because if you really understand what the role of the phantom went through you would get the downsides of the film of the 2004 making of the phantom of the opera. I mean as a cinematographer and filmmaker yeah I mean it had its flaws but if you really understand the story and the moral of the picture it speaks louder than the flies it should make a moving thing for anyone and maybe I'm biased for that but I think all productions Of the story that happened turn into a musical is awesome I don't care how horrible a film can make it is it film can make the moral of the story right that's the whole point

I'm late on commenting on this opinionated review. However I love this movie and I feel like I could maybe read your mind into a different opinion of this movie. I might be wrong. I don't know it's just the love I have for this film is just so strong. I think you have to not look at this story which you have to look at this movie especially with how many other productions it's been you know on Broadway on book on movies. There's just so many different approaches to this movie. I don't know if you're gonna ever see this comment but I think instead of judging the cinematography and how it makes you feel right off the bat watch it again I don't care if you don't have time or not you find yourself having aggression towards this movie channel that ingression or you're strong opinions into something that makes a unification makes a strong borderline. Do you know everyone in my experience sees it maybe differently but I noticed in the people I surround myself with I was a theater kid I was it in the conservatory of my high school. but anyways it is a matter what I'm trying to say is that you don't understand the moral of the story. And sometimes people aren't going to like what they hear or see but the story itself can be much stronger than me and I mean we face things we go through in today every day life that we don't want to but shapes us into the person we are and you can make that connection with the Phantom of the opera

i'm surprised no one called you out on this....she did not talk to Raoul just twice. She tells her friend they were childhood sweethearts but he probably wouldn't recognize her and he says he recognizes her during her first performance and when he goes into her dressing room they have a conversation that shows it was an old twisting of words they did when they were children and they talk about a memory of her father. he had the nickname little lotti from when they were kids. (everything else is mostly subjective as i did like the movie but that's facts you just missed)

I had to look up why people don't like the film because I love it! I think I've seen it like maybe 6 or 7 times so far and songs haunt me at various times. But I've never seen the stage show so maybe that's why. I dig Geralds voice and I think the point of casting a good looking dude is to show how close he came to having a normal life (which in a lot of ways is more cruel than being totally deformed) and to show how cruel people can be with any imperfection. It's much more cinematic for her to be mesmerized by his apparent beauty as well as his voice versus his voice alone.
