Scott Hoyt & Helen Hoyt performing an Everly Brothers medley
No other duo in in the history of rock and roll has had such a major influence on so many recording artists and performers as the Everly Brothers. You can hear their influence in the music of such groups as The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, The Bee Gees, Peter & Gordon, Chad & Jeremy, Seals & Crofts, The Hollies, America,....the list goes on and on. This video consists of Scott Hoyt and his sister, Helen Hoyt, performing some snippets of songs by The Everly Brothers. Scott and Helen are available for bookings for their "live" duo show, "A Tribute To The Everly Brothers", in which they perform all the Everlys' hits plus songs by artists influenced by the The Everly Brothers.

Scott ... thank you so so much for sharing this incredibly awesome video with us all; watching it was like being there. I remember this concert; I wasn't there but being not too, too far down the 5 in Oceanside, I remember my friends parents (I was 14 then) having gone and coming back and talking about it. Goodness ... you, Rob and Dennis ( and the others ) were just so so great! Thank You!!

Oh my God just to know that Robbie was in Valencia where I lived then as a young girl! He makes my heart beat triple time! Only Rob Grill, that's all I want to hear as lead singer with grassroots. END of story!!! OH, ROBBIE, you still HAUNT my dreams. I remember walking on foggy nights in Hermosa back to my apartment, from flirting and listening to Jazz at the Lighthouse, and next door to the End Zone for pool..... I loved when you came to town. “Where Were You When I Needed You” was not on the set list that night. Rob was feeling no pain that night and just launched into an impromptu version of the song, much to our surprise. We had no idea where he was going with the song, so we just jumped in and followed along. We were just winging it.
