nice am going to buy it
You are connecting with the real plc and also real machine for that video?
Awesome stuff, the framework looks very clean and easy to use!
thank you
Is the VR builder package necessary to make this animation? I would like to make that animation for an augmented reality project, thank you and greetings
Yes, VR Builder is used for this animation. Despite its name, VR Builder can also be used for creating AR, web, and desktop applications. Obviously, the VR interactions won't work but if you are only interested in the animations, that should be no problem.
Hi, Can you interactive with your own 3D model machines?
Yes
nice 👍 you can repeat on an unreal engine?
Unfortunately, we don't provide an Unreal SDK yet.
Imagine working on a plugin for unity just before they drop this nonsense. that must really suck for you
Indeed, Unity does not make it easy for us to foster their ecosystem and the recent changes in their license model didn't help either. 😕
0.20$ per node 👀👀!?!?!?!?
💀💀💀💀
Unlike Unity, this plug-in is really free to use. You can even get the complete open source code from GitHub. 😀
For only 2280x2280 LCDs, no reason whatsoever to buy this headset at this price over Pico 4 or Quest 3 coming out in a month at close enough to that res and less than half the price. Product will flop unless they drop it to $799. Even at the price, it might flop.
Lenovo provides 2 big advantages over Pico 4 and Quest 3 for business users: 1. It is build for enterprise purposes which is reflected not only in the hardware but also in their services and the different software options/partners. 2. You don't have any data privacy/security issues that you could have with devices from ByteDance or Meta. You can find more information about this device on our blog: www.mindport.co/blog-articles/lenovo-thinkreality-vrx-review
@MindPort Thanks. It's not that I want to be negative and see Lenovo fail, quite the opposite. But the thing that is going to matter the most very very soon is a breathtaking visual experience with microOLED displays. People are sick of washed out colors and the screen door effect. And non VR enthusiasts put these things on and say, why does this "4k" display look like the equivalent of a 1080p monitor? So you can offer all the business services you want and hopefully that works out for you, but in the long run you need to start wowing people.
hi there, is there any way to avoid the user from passing through the wall using VR builder? i've already tried add collider to the wall but nothing happened, still can pass through wall
Hi! You can try changing the layer of the wall. But please join our community on discord where we can better support you. You can use this link for joining: community.mindport.co
@@MindPort can i know what type of layer would be? btw thanks
@@m.shahrulnizam4655 The one that is set in your teleport ray interactor. It usually is name "XR Teleport". You can also select 'all' for checking if this approach is in the right direction.
@@MindPort understood, thank you sir.. 🙏
is the code requiring in VR ??
This implementation does not require any code!
Is there a localization method for this tool?
Thank you for your patience! VR Builder architecture is already prepared for it, so it's possible to add your localization solution if you like. Or you can also join our Discord server (community.mindport.co) for future updates, as we are considering providing it together with one of our partners!
Didn’t think I’d find such an oddly specific tutorial for basically exactly what I need. We run a staffing agency and I wanted to give a VR training job type showcase experience out to some of our offices. I have basic code experience and an okay amount of 3D modeling. Appreciate this. Do o need any packages or libraries or whatever for this or just all straight in Unity
Then maybe VR Builder is perfect for you! It's a VR development toolkit that will allow you to do more with less code. And to answer your question: You will need to download VR Builder package from the Asset Store.
Can this all plugin "MindPort" implemented in VR multiplayer?
Yes, multiplayer is a part of our pro offering, you can learn more here: www.mindport.co/vr-builder/pricing If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to contact us!
@@MindPort Why is the price for the vr builder plugin on the Unity asset store cheaper than the price on the website?
@@imammaruf1440 The add-ons on the asset store are part of the Community edition. You get the features and standard community support. Our Pro edition includes exclusive services, like dedicated product training, priority bug fixes and feature request, which will help you get the best value out of VR Builder in a short time frame. For hobbyist and students we recommend the community edition. For professional teams with the aim to deliver highest quality content on time and in budget to their client, the Pro edition is a very valuable option.
Hay, How did you make the snap zone can reusable, I following your tutorial, but I don't know why the snap zone just can use onice time only for each play, how to slove it
After the step is done, the snap zone will be disabled but one way to solve this is, for example, looping your process.
@@MindPort how to looping it?
@@kmc3935 you can just connect the 2nd step back to the 1st one and create a loop within the process that way. Please note that you would need to unsnap the snapzone (there is an unsnap behavior for this) and you should move the object out of the snap zone (e.g. via the move object / animate transform behavior) so that it does not automatically snap again.
@@MindPort thx for reply to help
@@MindPort but I following your step still fail to loop it(add the unsnap behavior and set move object?
hii guys !! what about if i want to grab the object again after putting it in the snap zone ! is it possible ?
Never mind i did it u just need to loop the steps around
Glad you could make it work!
great content guys !! but after doing everything you did i get the blue line to tp but still does nothing i rly dont know why
We made some changes on how teleportation works on VR Builder 2.7. Change the trigger from ""On Select Exited" to "On Deactivated" for the teleportation area. If this is still not fixing your issue, please join our community on Discord (community.mindport.co), so we can help you troubleshoot this!
@@MindPort thank you sooo muuch it worked <3
either "mockhmd destroyed but trying to access" error or its just still frame of game for me im just not hitting it today :(
Sorry to hear that you are encountering issues. Please join our discord community where we will help you resolve this. 🙂 Here is the link: community.mindport.co
for testing you every time buid and check ?? if not then how ???
What we and most of our users do for testing is: - Use tethered devices so that you can directly test in playmode. It also helps because you see all the logs. - Use the desktop menu (from the menus add-on) as it allows to skip steps and whole chapters. You can also use the standalone menu to do the same with standalone devices. - Adjust the process to only test the critical part to speed up testing. - Make use of a device simulator. The one provided by XRIT is a bit clumsy and some users have developed their own. I hope those suggestions help you out.
The blue snap zones aren't being shown in VR, but the objects will still snap into place. Any idea why the zone wouldn't appear?
@tposetoys4419 Probable the model does not allow read/write. To fix this, select the model of the object (usually an fbx file or similar) and open the Unity Inspector. In the model's properties, you'll find a "Read/Write" checkbox. Set it to true.
thanks champ
You are welcome. 😀
Great free software. Need more of this so we can make more VR games. 😎👍
Thanks! We are glad you like it. 😀
Hello nice tutorials do you have discord or instagram?
Hi, we do! Feel free to join our discord community (community.mindport.co)
How did you add the glass sound to the interaction?
Hi Nofar, You can play sounds on collision. This thread should help you add it to your scene: answers.unity.com/questions/1159138/playing-audio-on-collision.html
Where did u get the step inspector from ???
It's part of VR Builder. You can get the plug-in for free from assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/visual-scripting/vr-builder-open-source-toolkit-for-vr-creation-201913
When I followed the steps for importing VR Builder I am not getting the workflow editor? What could be the reason for this?
You can manually open the workflow editor via the menu tab > Tools > VR Builder > Open Workflow Editor. If this entry is missing, there is an issue with them import/compiling. Often times, restarting Unity resolves this issue. If both these approaches don't work, please join our community where you will receive further assistance: community.mindport.co
How did you get those bricks?
We created them out of 2 cylinders and a cuboid in a standard 3D modelling tool. For the propotions we used LEGO brick parameters.
Awesome video! You guys are great!!
Thanks Taylan! 😀
awesome!! i am currently working with vrif, ¿is there a link to download the sample scene with the vr building flow?
Hi Nicolás, thanks for your question and interest in VR Builder! 😀 The integration (incl. this demo) is going to be included in the next VRIF release. Feel free to join our community (community.mindport.co) for further announcements.
sir Can I make a vr shooting game with its help?
It is possible to be used for any VR application. You will get the most value if your app/game includes some form of process logic, e.g. some tasks or goals that you have to accomplish. For shooting games, I'd recommend to check out the VR interaction framework: assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/vr-interaction-framework-161066
so vr headsets are necessary for this?
For developing the VR content, a VR headset is not required. It is also possible to use the XR interaction toolkit device simulator, but to experience immersive environment, a VR headset is highly recommended. What's your use case and what would you like to use VR Builder for?
Hey man, I don't seem to be ab le to find the VR builder on the asset store. Was it removed?
Hi Daniel, It's still on the asset store and we recently released version 2.0 🎉. Unfortunately, Unity ranks free assets lower, so you have to to scroll down a bit to find it in the search results. Here is the direct link for your convenience: assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/visual-scripting/vr-builder-201913
Which kind of vizor you used for this tutorial??
For this particular tutorial we used a Samsung Odyssey, a Windows Mixed Reality device. But VR Builder supports almost all common VR devices. You can check the details on the Unity Asset Store: assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/visual-scripting/vr-builder-toolkit-for-creating-vr-apps-201913
