Hi Nofar, You can play sounds on collision. This thread should help you add it to your scene: answers.unity.com/questions/1159138/playing-audio-on-collision.html
For this particular tutorial we used a Samsung Odyssey, a Windows Mixed Reality device. But VR Builder supports almost all common VR devices. You can check the details on the Unity Asset Store: assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/visual-scripting/vr-builder-toolkit-for-creating-vr-apps-201913
For developing the VR content, a VR headset is not required. It is also possible to use the XR interaction toolkit device simulator, but to experience immersive environment, a VR headset is highly recommended. What's your use case and what would you like to use VR Builder for?
It is possible to be used for any VR application. You will get the most value if your app/game includes some form of process logic, e.g. some tasks or goals that you have to accomplish. For shooting games, I'd recommend to check out the VR interaction framework: assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/systems/vr-interaction-framework-161066
