man oh man , I grew up wanting a 2013-14 mustang gt, 5.0 or shelby, dream car truly but man oh fckn man,, i’m really reallyyyyy interested in getting a c6, I don’t think I will regret tbh it’s just that I want both yk or to be able to try out both atleast 😭

@@HPentertainments Nice! I found the price jumped once I started looking at cars under 25-30k miles. Settled for 45,000 miles! But these last for a lot more miles than that!

Found this informative. I’m still 22 with good enough income and 740+ credit when I walked in for a c7, but interest was over 15%, even with a trade in. Definitely re financing, but I heard it’s hard for younger guys to get “fair” rates/costs no matter how good credit is
lol they lying don’t let them lie to you go with your bank or a credit union and ask them for an auto loan that way I’ve always get better rates that way
@@davson15 i never financed with the dealership, I was pre approved with my bank but according to the dealership, they could get/tried to get a better rate. I wasn’t going to get the car if I wasn’t pre approved and had to use the dealership finance

Picked my 08 up 10 years ago for 40k with around 40k miles, I think I have about 48k on it now. Needs the trans rebuilt now, but went 9.9 @ 141 on motor 😂 I beat the shit out of it and it holds up pretty well with HCI

@@HPentertainments the 3lZ looks nice. They almost all start delaminating off the dash and have to have the entire dash removed to fix it. It's all over the forums. I'm happy I have a 2lz, so should you!

I was opposite. Sold my HCI C6Z for a 10 speed. Vette was more of a weekend car. Mustang is a perfect daily. Nothing beats the sound of an LS chopping. But WOT I think the coyote has it beat with the right exhaust setup
I’m a car guy but the mustang never really caught my eye (except razors in nfs mw) but the Z06 is a completely different experience I had to get one

Sure the z06 is nice and all but the motor reacts horrible to boost, and if you boost the mustang you’re going to beat the c6. The price difference between the z06 vs a gen 3 could get u a whole boost kit lol
@@5ohTristan tell me you can only drive in a straight line without telling me you can only drive in a straight line.
You don’t need boost with a LS7 it’s 427 cubic inches. My naturally aspirate C6 Z06 LS7 engine is 750HP by Texas speed. The ZO6 is much more aerodynamic than any mustang so at high speed it takes the mustang unless it’s a 1000 HP. And i’m not even going to mention handling and braking. Corvettes and mustangs are not in the same class Chief.

@@carado1984 I wanna find a decent platform for tracking and cruising. I figured the z06 would be very capable of both. I do like my coyote but once I boost it. It'll be kinda just the point a to b car. Im just doing heads n cam if I do get the z06. Gotta figure a way to let wifey know lol next step.

@@carado1984 yeah but the ls7 is a literal dream na of mine. I keep going back to it. My goals around 650whp. Be good on the track have enough power to cruise without bigs n skinnies all the time. I don't mind the ls3 however I sold one a while back, had some family situation to deal with.
@Socialjusticewarriorsaretrash I agree, the driving experience with the ls7 can't be beat compared to the ls3, but you might be watching too many RPM videos with that 650 whp in mind haha
I loved my C6 with the LS2. The transmission was in the back. It was a very balanced car.
The transmission is located in the rear of every C5, C6 and C7 Corvette. Just make sure you get the Manual Transmission!
I own a C7 and a GEN 2 S550. I feel the Vette handling is overrated. I can drive my Mustang faster on high paced mtn runs than the Vette. Both great cars tho.
The c7 weighs closer to that mustang than the c6z, that’s why
@@sulkmahidonkeydek3424 C7 is around 3300 lbs. Maybe 3350. My S550 is probably 3800+ with the blower sitting up front. The C7 also shows faster lap times at VIR than the C6Z but tire tech probably helped in that area.

I bought my 2012 C6 (Base) Corvette Carlise Blue with a manual transmission with only 8,500 miles on it in CA for 35k in 2023. I got a 6.3% interest rate on it through Driveway financial and I pay just under 700 per month on it. I considered getting an 06-08ish Z06 for a while but with the valve issues that are common on the LS7 and the relatively sorted out LS3 on the 2012 Corvette I decided on the base model because it was extremely low miles in showroom condition and pretty much bullet proof reliability (compared to the Z06).
Put a max din screen in it..
Definitely gonna look into that. Been trying to upgrade that old thing😂
@@HPentertainments dude it will transform your car it kills the mustang screen it's a 10 inch screen that replaced all the C6 controls and it controls HVAC and seats and it's an android screen that automatically 🤙 nnects you can do all Internet activities and.it looks amazing makes the car look new
Yea man I changed all my lights c8 style fronts, infirai infinity tails, cf front splitter and zr1 spoiler, max din screen, mgw short shifter, glass roof, zo6 wheels some other stuff , NPP exhaust with mild to wild kit, all black, ceramic coat. People don't even know what car it is they think it's new. Love it.. unbelievable car

@@cocacola3269 There are several people pushing over 700WHP N/A out of an LS7. A Coyote won't touch that without boost. One is not objectively better than the other, it depends entirely on what you want for a setup.

This is very informative, especially for those of us who are living in the USA from overseas. In the UK you really only need to prove that you have the income to repay the loan, banks typically don’t care hold old the vehicle is so when I relocated to the USA several years ago years ago it was quite a challenge getting financing even with well over 800+ credit score. Love you honesty and frankness, not to mention the Z06 of course 😊
I don’t. The z06 is way better than a s550 I’ve had two c6z’s and two s550’s and also a few terminators. C6z is goat.
It's not as practical and no it's not "way better". The coyote can churn out way more power on a stock bottom end. Far as na it's a fucking 7 liter engine in a 3200 lbs car I'd hope it can beat a 5 liter engine in a 3800 lbs car lol. I like mustangs and vettes but the mustang wins in alot of ways. They aren't even supposed to compare anyways.

LS2 / LS3 motors do NOT like boost. you will turn it into a short fused time bomb that will 100% go off and rather quickly. Now for boost, 6th gen 2SS / ZL1 or any Coyote with the 8/10 speeds are amazing. Glad to hear you're going to full NA build , the Z loves bolt ons, especially if you do big cam and heads aftewards.
LS3’s do great with boost. Better than the LS7
Ls3 are good with boost. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Also mustangs only come with a 6 or a 10. Not a 8. Coyotes destory ls7s tho once boost is a factor
