    @jonanonymous33 - my brother-in-law has a '97 ZRT 600, he replaced the rear suspension rear shock and rear suspension springs. We can't figure out why after these replaced parts, the suspension bottoms out with virtually no weight applied. WTF? Any ideas?

    • @jonanonymous33
      @jonanonymous33 17 дней назад

      did you set the adjuster blocks for the springs? At 0:02 they are the component at the end of the spring next to the idler wheel with the bolt backed out already. If you've already rotated them to give you the tightest suspension my only other guess would be the new springs were lighter than the old ones

      Yes the triangle adjuster has been turned to the strongest setting.

      Not sure if you meant to say clutch or choke. I believe I showed taking the choke off the carburetors, but for the clutch you would take the three bolts loose holding it together. My other video: ruclips.net/video/e8JLaegACqs/видео.html shows more about the clutch at around 10:20

    Nice one, I wonder are the white decals unobtainable for the snowtrack. as so many restorations don't seem to use them.

    y'all should check your brain for tumors on eye nerves.. what do you mean excellent job?!! this is very sloppy work.. compared to few others here, who restore tonka toys this is undilligent!! the plastic insides are left rusty on the bottom side, the wheel discs as well the tires are left without care and as for paint of the main hull, where in the lords name is filler, where's wet sanding and other finishing moves huh??.. If anything I'd say that it's a decent result for a beginner.. but not an excellent work or a sweet job.. to overpraise someone means to lower the standards..

    • @jonanonymous33
      @jonanonymous33 Год назад

      It was my first Tonka restoration and my intention was to encourage others that you can make one of these look a whole lot nicer with just a little work. I like leaving some of the pits from the rust on these since it leaves some character in my opinion. I just do this for fun so cleaning up parts in unseen areas is unnecessary to me. All I really care is that I saved this old toy from the trash and made it look a little nicer. I guess I'll try to do a little better if I do another one.

    • @lexsmith8689
      @lexsmith8689 Год назад

      @@jonanonymous33 i personally don't have anything towards your work.. I may be lil' too perfectionistic due to my own field of work and also thanks to being a bit spoiled by chip restorations and his tonka collection. I just don't exactly like when people exaggerate in their comments just cuz they can't do the same.. I mean one thing is to appreciate one's abilities and work and other is to just throw praise everywhere so as not to hurt anybody's feelings in fear of discouraging someone from doing anything.. right?!.. I may sound stuck up, mean and arrogant but i genuinely believe what i wrote is true..

    • @jonanonymous33
      @jonanonymous33 Год назад

      If you're referring to the engine blocks they can vary a bit, I got my engine with the snowmobile for $100 seized but I've seen running engines by themselves go for around $150-200 in my area.

    Hi Jon. you are on the right track but what gets subscribers and likes and word spread about your channel is showing what your doing. talking about what your going to do and not showing how you do it will choke your ability to create a great channel for and your subscribers. I hope I have helped as I do not like to criticize anyone with courage enough to put themselves in the public space.
