I just downloaded this program and installed it. Download was fine, but when I tried to login after initialization, it never would work. I already had my controller setup and running, but I was hoping to be able to do additional management from my new Mac, but is it better to just control it from a browser directly?? Anybody know??

I have multiple unifi APs but not a cloud gateway. Can I use this WITHOUT having a physical unifi cloud gateway device ? Or is a cloud gateway device required to be able to manage the devices?

Hi, I have 2 different Analog trunk on Grandstream UCM6208, and I want to have some extensions to make outbound calls on trunk 1 and other extensions also on trunk 2.

Thank you for your great videos. I have a question if you could help please. I have setup the calls to come to an "inbound route" where it rings simultaneously in 3 extensions. Now, I want to setup a voicemail so that if none of those 3 extensions answers the call, it will be redirected to a voicemail. could you please let me know if that's possible and how I can achieve it? Hi, thanks so much for your video.I have cisco callmanager and grandstream.I have set up a sip trunk between cisco sip server and Grandstream.On cisco server,the trunk status is up.On the grandstream ,the trunk status is blud in color 3xxx extensions are registered on Cisco sip server. 1xx(3 digit)extension are registered on the Grandstream.The testing extension on grandstream is showing idle and pressence status is unavailable .. i want all the cisco phones to be able to dial all grandstream phones and vice versa . i have set up both inbound routes and outbound routes on both grandstream and cisco the calls are not going through what will be the destination under inbound router in grandstream for all phones?

Great tutorial! I run into an error message though. I mounted /var/lib/unifi to docker/unifi according to video. I can launch the UniFi Docker but when checking the log for the UniFi Docker it states as follows: "WARN Unable to load properties from '/usr/lib/unifi/data/system.properties' - /usr/lib/unifi/data/system.properties (No such file or directory)" What can I do to fix this? Good, straight forward video. I moved over to a mac mini to run my controller as my Gen 1 controller is not able to keep up, showing bizarre behaviour. I have slowing grown my home network to 17 Unifi devices and ~100 clients. QUESTION to anyone: Unlike the embedded controllers from Ubiquiti, there was options in the Web UI and Mobile app to restart the controller. I do not see that in the macOS version. Any thoughts on restarting the controller. Is quiting the controller on macOS from the UI (to simply quit, then restart) safe to do? Other thoughts? I kind of don't like the ability to restart the controller via the web/mobile UI (in macOS). Curious of other thoughts? Do I have this wrong?

Unfortunately this workaround doesn't work any more. After allowing to run anyway I still get the security alert that Apple cannot control it for malicious software. Seems Ubiquiti is making it impossible for Mac users to manager our APs

Thanks for this awesome video. Simple and very clear, straight to the point. I have unifi Access Point AC Pro, UCM604 and GXV3370. The switch is cisco SG350. When the AP is on switch trunk port, the phone receives IP from wireless but laptop would not received IP address. The opposite happens when the AP is on switch access port. When I search the web, only wired scenario is treated with swithport access vlan id for data and switchport voice vlan id for voip. Could you make a video for the case of wirless AP. To give complete description of my scenario, I used dynamic vlan assignment by NPS(Microsoft radius).

I had an old unifi-video 2tb player.I installed Xpenology DS918+ as per videos( Turn old PC into Synology NAS | NETVN) on here. Installed docker then followed your video exactly. Then to get it on my android phone I downloaded the APK packet for unifi protect : (com.ubnt.unifi.protect_1.3.8) from apkmirror, You must use this version the others did not work. Hi Gary, any help you can offer us, in how to achieve this situation: This requires a certain approach involving DNS SRV records. Through a DNS service provider, an SRV record needs to be created so all IP addresses of the ISPs are under a common FQDN and with different weights. This FQDN is entered under PBX settings / SIP settings / NAT /External Host field. The UCM then uses STUN to monitor the circuits and adapt. I have a friend that have a Microtik router with at least 4 differents ISP's for redundancy. The thing is that, each time internet losses for current connected PBX to it, The UCM seems to keep trying to use the same internal already not present route or connection to reach the far-end trunk. The rest of the office PCs and services keeps going fine.. But not the UCM Any help, greatly appreciated if you can help us with an example or video to it. I have godaddy account. Hope this helps

I have an Ubiquiti system with a couple of WAPs. Are you running cameras on the synology based controller? It is my understanding that the doorbell and other cams require the ubiquiti nvr/cloud key. Thanks, Max

Hi Gary, I have the very same USG with the AC Mesh Access Points but still cannot achieve close to 1Gbs. Over wifi I get close to around 400Mbps. Any thoughts or advice?
