This looks like a very good study Bible. I think I just found my son's birthday present. I, too, like the durability (and cost) of a good Smyth-sewn hardcover. Irish immigrant David McConnel Smyth, inventor of the process and the machine to carry it out, pronounced his name with the short i sound, so we should, too, I reckon. Looks like a very nice bible. The art is beautiful. I love the cloth over board cover, the font size the and color for the font. Not crazy about how thin the paper seems to be. Thank you for your review. Blessings.

Thank you for the head's up on this deal, sir. I had no idea Hendrickson put this beauty out. Probably just as well, as my retirement budget would have not allowed a $250 Bible purchase, haha. I would have preferred the inclusion of Translators to the Reader and also matte-finish paper for the maps, but definitely not a deal breaker. Good Review. I have the MacArthur Study Bible - (NASB) - Signature Series - Updated Edition in the paperback. I picked it up in 2022 for $3.99 at the Goodwill Bookstore. I got it in Paperback because it looked lovely and I wanted to really check it out. I'm a Bible Collector, but for whatever reason, I had not been drawn to the MacArthur Study Bible. I'm just now really looking at it and reading it, which is why I looked at your Review. So far, it is interesting.

This Video just popped up on my feed and thought it was Great!! So I subscribed even tho I missed the Giveaway I subscribed regardless! I would have picked the Thompson Chain! I have a Thompson Chains in all the versions but the one I have in the King James was a handy size hardcover and it’s in bad shape missing lots of pages and the cover is deteriorating badly. So I just order a new one from Christbook store . A new Zondervan edition comfort print leather soft! They are quite nice I have one in the NIV ( but I don’t read it very much just to compare ) But Canada Post is on Strike !!! So who knows when I’ll get my new one but can’t wait cuz I really like the new Thompson Chains in the comfort print . There’s a few updates that are really nice too. Even tho I miss Kirkbride!!! Looking forward to seeing what your channel is all about!

Need a compact or medium size bible with drop caps that I can bring to Church as opposed to a larger bible.

I Love the Gold lettering and the Red Chapter lettering~stunning! The red letter text isn't bad--it looks good. Why wouldn't they include the Miracles of Jesus, The Parables and the Reading plan on the NKJV?

9 pt. font - very nice! Loving the spine on the NKJV and perimeter stitching. Love the gold gilded pages and the double ribbons for the OT/NT marking.

I am surprised that is an 8 - 8.5 font seeing as it's a small bible. It is packed with great information for it's size. This little bible would have fooled me with all it has. It's red letter and indexed too! The maps being in sporadically placed is a bit off seeing as you are reading Scripture and then you would refer to the map thinking that they want you to look and study the map. I would be blessed to have the 1964 Kirkbride Thompson Chain-Reference Bible. It would be a great companion for my Daily Devotions, Women's studies and to read at night. The Lord Bless you and Keep you.

I have the nkjv wide margin sovereign- yes it has a few hiccups in print- but compared to say 10-15 years ago what Nelson published- still a gem.

I found the Great Adventure Bible a bit of a lightweight. I would suggest you get the new Ignatius Study Bible. It just came out. I have also heard many good things about the Didache Bible. Both by Ignatius Press.

Is paying the extra for the leather cover over hardback worth it?

The Schuyler Canterbury are quite possibly the most beautiful Bibles in print inside and out

I have noticed that the Holy Bible logo on the spine is way off center, this occurs often with the new batch of Schuyler Bibles.

Very nice. I have the Schulyer ESV Stridon in Black Pearl and it has quickly become one of my favorite Bibles! I also have a Schulyer NKJV PSQ in Blue Goatskin that is also very nice. I hope you have many years of enjoyment reading your new Bible. Sola Scriptura!

With all that is going on in the world I have often wanted to read the Bible..... I have finally bought this Bible for myself to read and learn.

I have an edge lined Ryrie NAS , beautiful bible 😢. But man, the red letter is faded pink. So difficult to read effectively.

You can also get them in hardcover and paperback for much less than the leather version...but I love the leather. It is as it advertises a Cathedral in print...spreading the Word through beauty.

This is a great version. Luckily I was able to get the large print one with leathersoft cover using the old Kirkbride print block from Zondervan.
