I’m currently trapped here in Mexico with no passport, but a good friend shipped me my birth certificate and I have my driver’s license. This gives me hope that I could cross at Tijuana, but I’m nervous that I’d get denied entry since I don’t have even an expired passport. Ack

I’ll be walking back from Tijuana to San Diego. I don’t have a sentri card but will have my Global Entry card. Can I use it in the Sentri line?

If you plan to take UBER from this airport, don't let any taxi drivers convince you that UBERs only pick you up outside the airport, that is a big lie. Ubers are able to pick you up curbside.

I am going alone this Friday alone for a consultation. I think am going to walk across the border. I have not done that in over 35 years. but I think it is safer for a solo female.

Crazy how they didn't check your passport at all on entry to Mexico. Not even to log that you're there

When coming back be extremely careful to not be misguided by your GPS into the Pre-approved lane, there's no turning back once you get in, and you will be detained until you pay 5K for using the lane without permit.

I cross at international bridge McAllen/Reynosa ,the alarm sound when entering was to alert a vehicle to get inspected , I cross with my family and we bring in tons of of stuff and return with our van full of gifts and food including frozen mole , some border officers are super cool and one once asked me for my phone to verify where we went.

My first time driving in another country was actually my first time driving a car. I'm from Mexico but I learned to drive in Italy. And 3 weeks ago I drove in Portugal and Germany and that was a really nice experience! (fun fact, The "GRA" in Rome seems to me more dangerous than the German autobahn with no speed limit)

I honestly think u gave to much information. i crossed over from Mexicali frequently and had things i purchased and they are more concerned with fruits, alcohol, drugs and things like that. They would have never questioned packaging supplies.
