Pumpkin is a pretty good interviewer! shame he ended up robbing liquor stores and restaurant just a couple years later...
Hare Krishna Hare krishna Krishna krishna hare hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Hare!!!!.❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊🥇🎃⚽️🥉🏀⚾️🏆
So good to see Perpetual Change featured; one of their most powerful tracks with unbelievable bass lines from Chris.
Do folks UNDERSTAND what they're ..... signing up for ....... with this 'global citizen' Inc, BS ? If you don't KNOW how globalism is F+CKING YOU, then you aren't AWAKE. (WHY THE F do you THINK the REST of the world is joining BRICS ??? ) NY is off the rails. I had no idea he was this lost in 2012. oh well. no more heroes.
I would kill to SEE this entire show. Fragile tour with Bill …Cmon BBC!Who’s got the tapes???
Rick Wakeman could have made millions by being a stand up comedian. If you’ve never read his book Grumpy Old Rock Star, seek it out. It’s one of the funniest books I’ve ever read. It’s just not fair that one man could be so incredibly talented on keyboards and as a comedian.
It’s amazing what they could do; it just blows me away every time
Thanks to Peggi for the Bridge School. RIP Peggi. thanks for the good you brought to the world.
So good.
Try getting a group of young lads these days at that age to do anything like that would not be possible. Yes, along with Genesis, Pink Floyd and King Crimson were true pioneers.
Can anyone play church organ like Wakeman! Part of Elton's original musicians.
That jam at the beginning was one of the best I’ve ever heard
Angels play harps
Great time to be alive to enjoy this wonderful music.Glad I was of that era.
Rick is hilarious! Check out his speech at the induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
...and then come the 2000's where YES is just a product, split into two "bands", one damn near a cover band, the other half the surviving members jazz about. Their 70s albums rock, which most do from that decade, 80s sucked, 90s hit or miss, 2000s just a paycheck.
YES & Elizabeth Hurley are the best things Britain produced. Spice Girls themselves too for a hot second haha
I ve seen Yes in 1973 ander 1977 in Rotterdam Ahoy, Holland . Great concerts!!!
Sounds so much better than the record!
😆😆even the chicks are aware.
Yes is funny! This band had: The original line up(with peter and tony), the best line up:(thats on the video), the line up that made the best album(Relayer with patrick) and the line up with more "success": (with Rabin) 90125!!
The transition in "perpetual change" at 6:10 is bloody insane!!! INSANE!!!!
Foi um sonho este álbum...
I was 18...1971...small college in Florida...stage down in a small sinkhole...Live Oak trees with Spanish Moss overhanging...and out come Anderson, Howe, Squire, Wakeman and Bruford...good god almighty were we in for a surprise!
I wasn't there, but fyi, a little research shows that Yes played twice in 1971 at Stetson University, DeLand, FL: on July 6 (first US tour; promoting The Yes Album), and on Nov. 21 (second US tour, promoting their newest album, Fragile... the show opened with their current single Roundabout, & included an early live version of the rare "South Side of the Sky" for an encore!).
Squire and White ~ what a section!
Magical, just magical.
I disagree, the only thing digital destroyed was tape hiss.
Alan experimenting with Northdrums
I like to see or hear the sessions with Patrick Moraz during relayer.
Trust the BBC to have the best footage of Yes. If only they'd just let all the film cameras run the entire rehearsal/show and made the ultimate time capsule!
this is very good
40:35
Underrated Alan White, what a monster on those tomtom rolls. Bill bruford was North pole, Alan White was south pole they both managed to work out really well with Chris squire but they couldn't have found a better replacement to Bill's. Alan White's drum beats are ferocious. A lot of great cymbal work certain consistency with Alan & Chris. Mesh so we'll together. Jon Anderson one of the great vocalists of all time. Voice is. Masterful
I still want to know what phone technology they used to get the church audio to the studio.
I'd love to see the full unedited video of this live performance, uncut. Is it saved somewhere? Can someone dig it up? 😢
Essa situação do João Vitor lembra quando eu era criança e vivia assombrado com a possibilidade so fim do mundo. Mortes, destruição, fogo, as portas do inferno se abrindo... Triste esse tipo de situação!
Horrible. Neil deserves so, so much better.
miodzio
After all is said and done, what is left of Yes comes down to Jon. Chris and Alan gone, Bill and Rick retired, Steve in a tribute band with mediocre musicians.
Amazed
Steve Howe ist einfach nur peinlich. Er spielt immer unsauber weil, an der oberen Grenze seines Könnens
I'd still like to know why Rick is fucking with the engineer so much in the middle. What was going on.
Great stuff..... And is it just me or does Bill Bruford look like the future dave mustaine??!!
I really wish Jon and Rick would have done more with this harp and organ tune, besides anything that was used in GFTO.
This is the greatest rock band ever assembled!! No question about it. That voice of Jon Anderson cannot be immitated. Add the best players: Wakeman,Christ Squire, Allan White,Steve How, Trevor Robbins, Bufford..the real show of YES was always played live. I was there,in front of the stage at least 20 times. I know what I am talking about.
I'm sure you did, pity you never learned to spell though, and who is Trevor Robbins?
Anything by Yes is stunning. I still can’t get enough of it….even at 72
Priceless! Golden footage!
Puss appears 22:56
It's funny, Steve , Rick, Chris, just want to get on with it and finish the album before discussing the light show.
Until today i was unaware that fottage of Rick & Jon jamming at the church in Vevey existed. This is like the holy grail of YES obscurities
