I am really new with unmatched and my very first set is Cobble and Fog because the theme is really cooool and that's what hooked me up in unmatched. After having that set I got tales to amaze and the consideration to that is because it lets me play the game solo and coop. after that my next consideration is the map. I prioritized getting the maps that would bring more to the game like for the hells kitchen you will be able to attack any cell in the map with a melee fighter and after that I got the brains and brawn set because of the map tokens as well. And what's good(or bad) with these set is that they are all competitive. I am really satisfied with what I have right now and not really thinking of buying more but I'm really excited with the tmnt set and the upcoming bruce lee set

Super interesting ! We are gonna use it for our 'season 2' qualifiers (last time we used a homemade bq/arsenal hybrid, banning those that played at least 1 game until everyone was used. We kept the undefeated fighters and those that had performed well to make a 24-man playoff trees with 8 bye.) We play best of 5, so we are gonna use 24 points. Since we ban those that played, we will have to change format at some point , but we will try to use it as long as we can. We will use your tier list for now but will probably move some around at some point. Love your channel , keep it up !

Hey captain, I started playing unmatched 4 months ago, and I and a friend of mine, want to get really good. At the point we are as players, we can somewhat figure out which fighters counter which, but we don't get how to pick an advantageous map against an non advantageous one. What advice would you give on maps, in order for someone to become a better unmatched player?

In the last part that you guys are talking about tournament formats that would be able to include more different decks, I think the point system (what we in the FGC call Ratio System for games like marvel vs capcom) would fit best and I feel that it would have to be implemented this way: you have 9 points and you can spend then in 3 characters, but their costs would be based on the tier list (like elektra and Strange costing 6, Angel and Spike costing 1). Then, you would have to win with all the three characters (making this a best of 5). There are two problems tho: deciding advantage and the fact that the game dont support mirror matches. I think that for the mirror problem, it could work like arsenal, and you just remake your roster with the character chosen by both being banned, but it could take significantly longer, because you cant lock the other characters. You could also choose alternatively, and it would be much faster, but it can open the doors to rock/paper/scissors. The advantage problem could be a coin toss in the first match (split, of course) and with secret picks, being revealed what first character you choose after the chosen map and starting position. Then, it would be loser's advantage, like they do in smash tournaments.

Yeah, the Daredevil’s Devil certainly can’t get above 8. People play it wrong because they don’t realise that while you do choose the order in which to resolve his During Combat effects, in order to get to the empty deck you HAVE to resolve his ability to blind boost first. If you choose to resolve the card’s effect first it’s just isn’t there, because you still have a card in your deck.

Great spoiler for the Witcher boxes! Surprised you've played games and don't remember Philippa. She is one of the key characters and you can't avoid quests with her. And in books she is so textured character. Can't wait to see her deck and playstyle! Also I hope that new battlefields will have spots with power-ups like Marvel maps have (because I like that idea but I don't like Marvel characters at all).

In Slavic mythology (on which The Witcher is based), the Leshy is a forest spirit, something like a male dryad, and he is neither good nor bad. For example, if someone is lost in the forest, Leshy, depending on this person’s behavior (or Leshy’s mood😅), can lure him deeper into the forest, or if you appease Leshy with treats, he will show the way home. In The Witcher he is more extreme, sort of like a Druid-like monster who protects the forest. But again, if you behave well and do not desecrate holy places, he most likely will not touch you.

When it comes to Witcher lore and stuff if you would like to know more about the characters I would highly recommend for you to play Witcher 3! It is more accurate to the book. The Witcher show is so messed up and poorly done when it comes to being faithfull to the original books. I am from Poland and it is VERY popular topic in our media and even the author of the book is not proud of the witcher show! But yeah, thats just me talking random, pointless information lol! Is there an age requirement to these tournaments?

Hi, as a person who lives under a rock, I want to ask how the draft is made in this tournament. I never see it on streams. In previous years, I could see it on Zeroskatr's channel, but not recently. I usually see that chosen fighters are usually not the strongest so I assume there's a kind of a ban phase before drafting or something. Is that it?
