I had this problem in my 2011 Enclave. I spent the money on a new actuator, and it did not fix the issue. I then tried disconnecting the negative battery cable for an hour. I reconnected it, started the car, and the computer system reset itself. I had cold air all around and all vents were blowing.

Are both actuator the same thing 5plug wire. 3 screws.? I see they have the same T3983001 code.

When installing the new one you don't need to use the vehicle to move the actuator to the rotation that matches the mating stud on the vehicle. Just turn the stud to match whatever position the actuator is in. You can't get it wrong because that stud can't turn far enough for it to be installed 180 degrees off. Also, there's a calibration procedure that's missing from all this, I believe.

do you happen to have the part number or link to where to buy this one?...i already had the defroster -mid - floor actuator replaced already, is it the same part number? Thanks...
