I'm always entertained by the comments from "believers" who all line up to rightfully crap on the JWs, but completely miss that even their special version of Jesus is still letting this happen regardless of which organization or even culture it is. I feel though on this one , is that the argument that the WT would put forward is that their job here is to keep the domestics or rank a file is to provide them with the food that will help them to be in an acceptable condition when the exucutioner arrives unexpectedly , not necessarily to identify when it would be , although obvious they’ve tried that as well and I understand that even JC warned not to be mislead by those claiming to know that but I think his point was that they are helping the sheep to be acting appropriately

As witnesses we were taught to read past context often. Matthew 24; Mark 13 and Luke 21 are about the destruction of the temple. John does not refer to these events in his gospel as he records them in Revelation. Revelation is a book we were taught to ignore the context. It too was about the destruction of Jerusalem.

They are not being kept awake. They are being kept ignorant and blind. They governing body is their eyes that they think are being kept awake. Is adjustment to understanding the same as new light?

The handling of csa cases gets muddled when friendship between elders and popularity is present. In one case an elder is in the same hall as his son who is known to have an attraction to "younger" females and has acted on this in the past. Yet his father covers for him and makes it so that the other elders are complacent in enforcing the restrictions placed on his son. Like the above examples, this elders son has childcare over the house and approaching young children in the hall. Anyone who says anything gets blacklisted due to the family being so big , influential and well connected. All that can be done currently is to keep your children in your line of sight and to educate them to keep them safe. Report whenever you can.

The biggest point missed here, there is a reason why human authority exists. Laws in place, they had an obligation to those kids, and they let those kids down in Gods eyes. Turning the other cheek does not apply here, keeping man made law is. Jesus said this in Marthew for a reason. Why ignore the evidence. What kind of boso leadership is this.

I agree with David Splane on one point. Just because a person is found "guilty" in mans eyes doesn't mean he is "guilty" in Gods eyes. That is true. But there are those that are found "guilty in both mans and Gods eyes. Child molestation is a terrible crime not just a sin. When a child is molested by an adult or older teenager the result is catastrophic for that child. The damage is done for life. David Splane maybe "smoke screening" trying to minimize the role of the organization and it's failures at protecting children in order to keep their money, but if that is the case he too, along with the rest of the gb, is completely guilty in mans and God's eyes also.

You need to more clearly differentiate between when you are reading from the Bible and when you are using your own words. Maybe a colored font?

Read the following scriptural texts,, oh elders and governing body; apply them and ask for forgiveness from those you've harmed!! James 4: 11, 12; 1 Tim. 5: 21;..1 Corinth. 4: 3-6;, Romans 14: 2-12;,....1 Tim 6: 3-5,.......

There's NO light in this organization. The light of Christ is not present. I always felt like I was going to a funeral service when I went to meetings and assemblies. I just had an epiphany.... The Jehovah's witnesses try to argue about where to place the comma when Jesus said today you will be with me in Paradise... They always bring up the argument that Jesus was in the grave for 3 days so therefore he did not mean today in the sense of that particular day... Well the scripture also says he will be in the heart of the Earth... But we all know that his tomb was above ground... I think that might be a good point to bring out the next time you were confronted by a jw on that subject....

When I started having full recollections of being abused around the age of 5, I was out.

JW's always say we never said a date for the end. And yet here is Jeff Jackson saying in the past ones have been disappointed and they were acting like watch dogs. Ok, what dates is he talking about? 1914, 1925, 1975??? So it's true then. They have predicted and taught certain dates. False prophets. Don't fear them. Don't listen to them.

When cornered on a particular point JW's always say you can't just use one scripture you need to use multiple scriptures. Yet they love Matthew 24:45. How do they not see it's a parable.

UNFORTUNATELY Matthew CHAPTER 24 verses 45 to 52 this is a continuation of CHAPTER 23 but "blind leaders they do not want to see it or read it . All CHAPER 24 this is a continuation of CHAPTER 23 ,YOU CAN READ FROM 24:45 TO 52 AND THEN start Chapter 23 ,so would be MORE UNDERSTANDABLE. Have a nice "eyes wide open"

@2:15 I would challenge that the gov body has less of an understanding of the scriptures than the average Christian reading the Bible on their own. For example the gov body’s interpretation of “this generation” in Matt 24 is not referring to an age group divided by sons, fathers, grandfathers etc, but an ethno-centric group that share the same genealogical phenotype, aka a race, in this case the Edomite Jews. Jesus referred to this same generation at Matt 23 where he confronted the Edomite Jews calling them a brood of serpents and vipers in which all the blood of the prophets all the way to righteous Able fell upon their hands. Then he says in verse 36: _Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation._ he couldn’t have possibly been speaking of a time-related generation as Jesus said they had “filled up the measure of guilt of their fathers” that came before them. John speaks of the same generation phenotype of Edomite Jews at Rev 2v9 and 3v9 where he wrote that they say they are Jews but are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
