As soon as old tax regime is pulled out, everyone should should take out money from so called 80C. All tax free FDs, no EPFO deduction at (only min 1800 will put is that also can be avoided should make it 0), no more investments in govt bonds, no more top-ups in NPS etc. because when they say tax free while taking money they should atleast give relax till it's lock-in like 5yrs for Tax free Fds etc. Everyone should invest where is more return than these govt schemes

there is a cap to how much interest can NPS generate. unlike stocks or real estate .. where returns are not capped.

what happens if someone with NPS settles abroad and decides to retire abroad? Is there any way to redeem the funds?

Don't spread wrong information - Section 45 of the Insurance Act of 1938 states that a life insurance policy cannot be challenged after three years from the policy's effective date: The date the policy was issued, The date the risk began, The date the policy was revived, and The date the policy rider was added.   The only exception is if the policy is being challenged on the grounds of fraud. Fraud includes: Making a false statement, Concealing a fact, and Any other act intended to deceive.  If the insured can prove that the misstatement or concealment was true, the insurer cannot repudiate the policy. If the policyholder is deceased, the burden of proof is on the beneficiaries.

Very true, all our data are available to agents/back agents and competitors. Not just insurance , also our loan details , card limits , type. On top of this bank agents have access to our bank balance.

exactly the entire product line up aimed at top 1-2% as people below that percentile can’t even afford the real estate in India. To find a good insurance company also look IRDA Website data about # of complaints raised to Insurance Omburdsman...more complaint means more risk....in Yr 23 24, there were #34203 complaints raised for Health insurance !! Out of which #13,308 complaints ( 40% !! ) were for SINGLE company !! The same company which is in limelight for all wrong Reasons... So choose insurance company with more Trust, Financial condition to safeguard ourselvs

instead of huge Health cover of 1 Cr, better to buy modest cover of 15 L per Person with SUPER TOP Up cover for 50L, this will be much cheaper & helps.....and most important, first we do ensure to be focussing more on Health management with Good Diet/Food habits, Regular Moderate Exercise, Good Sleep ...these dont cost much...but helps to maintain health....investing in Prevention should be First Priority backed by adequate Health & Life insurance

There is no guarantee that maturity amount would be tax free. Now a days budget is unpredictable
