Hi R, Thanks for your question! To get a green background in Movavi Video Editor 25: Click on the Plus icon (Import). Go to the Backgrounds tab. Under Categories, click Basic. In the search bar, type "green," and you'll find the green background you need. Now, work your way through the steps in the video until 03:07. At that point, to make the circle into an oval, grab the left or right middle adjustment point on the sizing box around the circle in the preview window and drag it to stretch the shape into an oval. Bright, sunny beach footage could benefit from softer transitions, slower pacing, and warm-toned filters to enhance the relaxed vibe. It would be awesome to detach the timeline and move it to a separate monitor or a split screen. To gain more space, try adjusting the area just above the timeline tools or below the preview window. You can click and drag the line there to shrink the preview and editing tools, giving you more room on the timeline. Another tip: If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can press it like a button while hovering over the timeline. This will let you drag the timeline left or right, and you can also scroll up and down, which is how I navigate it. Also, I try to keep things neat to minimize scrolling. For example, if I have a clip in a second video track with unnecessary audio, I’ll remove the audio to keep the timeline more organized. And if you’re stacking lots of layers, consider finalizing certain sections and rendering them out. You can then bring the rendered clip back into a new timeline, which keeps everything in one single clip. I hope these tips help! If you're creating a vertical video (9:16), start by adding your two clips to the timeline. Place one clip on the main video track and the second clip on a new video track directly above it. Highlight the top clip, click the "More Tools" icon, and under the "Position" tab, select "Side by Side - Top" to merge the clips. Finally, adjust the top frame by clicking and dragging it in the preview window to position it as you like. Give it a try and let me know how it goes! 😊

Great question! Yes, you can add an "invert" filter (invert colors) to the clip in the timeline below the text you're zooming through. If you want to flip the clip 180 degrees you can highlight the same clip, click the "more tools" icon, then "crop and rotate", then click the rotate button a couple times. That will automatically invert the content visible inside the text as you zoom. Hope this helps!

@ what about showing the whole clip, but only inverting whatever is inside the text? Like, the black in your thumbnail is the normal clip but whatever is inside "fly" is inverted?

What you're describing, keeping the clip normal but only inverting the part visible inside the text is definitely possible. Thank you so much for your kind words! I totally get your frustration with Movavi's slow-motion option, it can be a bit time-consuming when you have to cut the clips and adjust the speed manually. But here’s a trick that might make things a little easier: Once you’ve split your clips into smaller pieces, you don’t have to adjust each clip individually! You can actually highlight multiple clips at once to change their speed all together: Hold Ctrl (on Windows) or Command (on Mac) and click on the clips you want to adjust. This will select them all. Then, go to Clip Properties and adjust the speed slider. It will apply the same speed change to all the highlighted clips at once, saving you a lot of time! Also, if you’re working with a magnetic timeline and end up with gaps between clips, just right-click in the space between them and select Delete Gap to remove it easily. Hope this helps streamline your process! Let me know if you have any other questions or need further tips! 😊

@@fawnmyra Thank you for the answer, but i think you misunderstood me and also my explanation wasnt so good i notice . If i want to make a clip when skiing for example, maybe i want to make a nice part in slowmotion when passing something, and then speed up again in a way that seems natural then is the only way to cut it into smaller pieces? Cause adobe has a feature that lets you drag a bar on the timeline making like a slope and slowing down with a natural feeling. And you can make the clip slow down fast or slow. :)

Yes, absolutely! To do this, I apply blur and tracking to the object I want to conceal. Then, I split the clip where I want the blur to stop and again where I want it to restart. For the segment where I want the blur removed, I click the little FX icon on that clip, which opens the "Applied Effects" tab. From there, I can see all the effects applied to that segment. I just find the "Highlight and Conceal" effect and either uncheck the box to disable it or delete it altogether. This only removes the blur from that one segment, and the blur will continue as normal after it.
