This is excellent Fawn. Did not know how about the export option, it’s similar to flattening an image in photoshop. This is a better tutorial than what movavi provides. Keep them coming!

First off, excellent video. I have subscribed. I realized at "Export" that this would not be a technique I will be incorporating. The time it takes to export and the uncertainty of whether or not the subject stayed perfectly in the circle are too time consuming and risky. Great video though. I have read some of the other comments and Agree that Movavi should add some simple software to allow us to shape footage. Keep up the great work.

Hi Fawn, further to our discussion I have found a free App for stitching together footage from 360 cameras. Its called "Gear 360 Action Director" I have used it once or twice and the early signs are promising. I did however have to connect my camera to register on the site which may limit its attraction to non-samsung owners. Hope this helps. Regards Les.

Well I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but one option you could try is by using method number one in this video for your circle, place that in your overlay track, add animation keyframes to it and enlarge the circle so that it's out of view, then with more keyframing you can have the circle slowly close in around your subject. Give it a try!
Hi, again. I follwed the #2 technique step by step while going back and forth from your video to my project. Had one problem. Using the "photo snapshot" and the "export" functions and placing the results directly into the media bin was not available to me. I assume that this is because I am using Version 20 of Movavi and you are likely using Version 22. I was able to do a work around by exporting to the desktop and then adding these files to the media bin. Otherwise worked well and I have nice new intro video.
Hey sorry, I should have clarified a bit more on that. Yes, we have to reimport snapshots for editing (even in the 2022 version). I'm glad to hear that this worked out for you, and congrats on your new intro video!!!😀

In premier pro there is a way but Im trying to avoid importing/exporting if possible. I was hoping there was a crop feature in Movavi to just round out the corners
There's a couple ways that come to mind.. You could simply add a Vignette filter, like "Vignette 7" from the filters tab, or add a mask from within the Highlight and Conceal tab. In 2022 this mask is called "bright ellipse", you can then increase the opacity to fully remove the corners as desired. Hope this helps.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I don't ever use the app myself, but if it is similar to the desktop version, than you would want to put one clip directly above the other in the overlay track. Then use the "picture in picture" tool to adjust the size, opacity, etc.

Hi R, Thanks for your question! To get a green background in Movavi Video Editor 25: Click on the Plus icon (Import). Go to the Backgrounds tab. Under Categories, click Basic. In the search bar, type "green," and you'll find the green background you need. Now, work your way through the steps in the video until 03:07. At that point, to make the circle into an oval, grab the left or right middle adjustment point on the sizing box around the circle in the preview window and drag it to stretch the shape into an oval. After that, press play and continue with the steps in the video. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions😊

For text, look through the "Titles" tab for what you like best. For Arrows, look through the "Stickers" tab. You can also use the search bar to find arrows within the stickers options. Also once you've applied these remember that you can animate them too.. things like making the arrows grow in size or make the text fade in and out.. just as examples. To be honest, it's still complicated (and again, there's the exporting/importing thing). In most editors (Premiere, DaVinci, FCPX, ...), it's far more easy to do. So unfortunately, being a basic editor, one has to deal with cumbersome ways to achieve simple things. Hopefully Movavi will change this in the future. On the other hand, the techniques are very well explained (e.g. with those papers, representing layers), thank you miss!

the first one kind of sucks because you have to make many kind of adjustment and keep messing with the video colors, better use the second one i would say..

A ring light provides even lighting that creates a circular "catchlight" in the eyes, enhancing photos and videos. You can mount a camera in the center of the ring, allowing for direct, shadow-free illumination. Unlike softboxes, which can create side shadows, a ring light evenly wraps light around the subject, making it a nice option for close-up work like makeup tutorials, etc...

Yeah, I can agree that if this "circle crop" was built in as a "picture in picture" option, that would be great. I'd really like to see masking become avilable as well (I've even requested masking once, I didn't get a response.. 😂)

the first one kind of sucks because you have to make many kind of adjustment and keep messing with the video colors, better use the second one i would say..

I think there actually is a point to ring lights, i just don't see a point to ring lights.
A ring light provides even lighting that creates a circular "catchlight" in the eyes, enhancing photos and videos. You can mount a camera in the center of the ring, allowing for direct, shadow-free illumination. Unlike softboxes, which can create side shadows, a ring light evenly wraps light around the subject, making it a nice option for close-up work like makeup tutorials, etc...
