I wonder what this model would look like I’d it used the 1x1x1 bricks that lego once experimented with for professional architects
Hi Michael. Not sure how that would hold together, but it would certainly require a lot more bricks!
I'll have to try this style out! Thank you for explaining the benefits and downsides of this scale!
Hi and thanks for the comment. It's fun to play with figures and maybe small dioramas in this scale, but anything larger soon gets you into the realm of needing hundreds of bricks. Try it out and have fun with it though!
This was so fun to watch, and such a great method you developed 😍 what a cute mini city too!
Hello Mari and welcome to the channel! Thanks so much 😊 You can take a tour of the city here: ruclips.net/video/w6MK7JqYmdU/видео.html or feel free to look round the channel to see more details of the design and build of the city and all its buildings and features!
So many RUclipsrs use an online digital program to create their cities. Personally I prefer your way and this was how I mapped out mine, my city being on top of a chest of drawers in an alcove! I've no way of expanding my city so I just swap the modular buildings with others I have in my hallway it give it a different look. Great video 😊
Hi Sandra and thanks for the comment. Yes it's also possible to do this digitally and look at it from different angles. I suppose I could do the same. But I like to play with the pieces like chess pieces :-) and also I wouldn't be able to show a digital version to other people as easily. Being able to swap buildings round is one the advantages of the modular system so I'm glad you can enjoy changing your display around like that. Have fun with it!
Awesome micro scale city .
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
What a fantastic city - I really enjoyed the tour video , thanks :-)
Hello Lui and welcome to the channel! Glad you enjoyed the tour! Please feel free to have a wander round the channel :-)
What a beautiful little city! My adult son and I love building with legos. Just ordered a large set for Christmas. Maybe someday we can tackle an original creation like this. So much fun! ❤
Hello Loftus, thanks for your comments and welcome to the channel. I hope you enjoy building your large set (what is it?). Do feel free to look round the videos on the channel for some more ideas and updates!
@@WelcometoEuphoria We bought the large Dungeons and Dragons set. It’s our Christmas gift to each other. 😃 Such a great way to spend time together.
@@loftus4453 That's going to be a great build! A good chance to switch off the TV and spend some quality time. Enjoy!
I enjoyed your walkthrough of your city ツ Thought that you might enjoy *TheBrickinPanda* - if you aren’t already - he’s building a nice town in the style of the Italian Riviera
Thanks Gordon! You're always welcome to look around :-)
Thanks for the tip to that channel - had a look and he's got some great ideas on there.
A thoroughly lovely bit of work. I love the fact that everything is properly planned and not just a continuous shuffle of baseplates to add the next new modular. Thanks for the tour!
Glad you enjoyed it! Really appreciate your comment!
Really lovely city. Very interesting details and excellent ideas. Go on!
Hello Marc and welcome to the channel. Thank you for your kind comments.
Your city continues to be one of my favorites. I think something is lost in sprawling cities made mostly of existing Lego sets. You manage to get a lot of charm out of a small footprint.
I really appreciate your comment, thank you very much!
Like how you have a historical story to tell on this tour of the Town. You have proven that to have a lego Town/City that you do not need lots of tables. I enjoyed watching this tour while relaxing with my Sunday morning cup of tea 😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the comment. Enjoy your cup of tea!
I thought we were going back to the coffee shop after the tour! These tours are always so rushed. Never enough time! Really nice, intentional development of your city. It seems so much bigger than it’s footprint.👍
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour! But never time to show you every detail. You're welcome to visit the coffee shop! Yes it is possible to fit quite a lot in a small space.
Great tour. It's very unusual to see a city without roads but it works! 😊
Thanks Sandra and welcome to the channel I'm happy to have a compact city with space for people - or minifigs :-) to enjoy.
I want to live here!
Needs a pub first :-)
Your modified Sanctum Sanctorum is stunning! I've considered picking up a copy of the set a few times, but I'm not a big Marvel fan and something about its overall look didn't quite work for me. I loved the comparison photos of the original with your version, as I think that helped me see the things I didn't like about the original that your modification corrections or enhances. You did a wonderful job of retaining the overall character of the building, while giving it more flattering proportions and details that fit in beautifully with the rest of your city.
Hi Summer and welcome to the channel. Thanks for your comments! I do like to set and it's well worth picking up as it's a fun build and results in a handsome building. You might like to see this video (Part 4) ruclips.net/video/BvaZBAtlAos/видео.html where I was trying to work out how the set might be improved and 'de-sanctified' and then in this video (part 5) ruclips.net/video/BIZ6Afgajmo/видео.html where I worked out which of those ideas I wanted to implement.
I really love this build. It’s a big improvement!🤩 Do you have a partlist?
Hello and welcome to the channel and thanks for the comment! I enjoyed working out how to improve this building. But as you can see I was working it out as I went along, so unfortunately no plans or parts list for the changes.
Wow! I especially ❤ the 3rd story balcony and the 3rd floor bed and bath. A fantastic build- huzzah!👍
Hi Patti! So glad you like it! You can see how I introduced the balcony (with the door to access it) in the second floor here ruclips.net/video/Z3oreiDAk0k/видео.html and of course the bedroom arrived in the roof section or third floor here ruclips.net/video/FMqniS1mtYM/видео.html. Please share :-)
Thank you for the advice! Could you make a video explaining some tips on making better mocs? Thank you!
Hi and welcome. Thank you. That's a good idea for a video. What's your level of experience of this? Complete beginner/newbie/experienced builder? What sort of tips are you looking for?
@@WelcometoEuphoria I’m very new to building mocs and I’m just looking for tips on detailing and deciding on what to make, thanks!
@@whale_xd518 ok. I'll have a think about that. I often start with an idea from a LEGO set so if this idea interests you, have a look at this series of videos about creating a small modular building from a Harry Potter LEGO set ruclips.net/p/PL5QeeGxeOSDbpAknMftD3Tt-gj30aRXsR.
@@WelcometoEuphoria Thank you!
All very good tips. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sandra. Thanks. Limited interest, I suspect, but I thought it might be of use to someone.
@@WelcometoEuphoria There'll always be someone interested. Maybe not today but in the future. I've watched many videos that are a few years old after searching for a particular subject.
I also think the low black railings work best, but they should be on both the front and the right side of the roof. Also, I think you should put some kind of railing between the bathroom wall and the top of the staircase.
Hi and welcome. Both good points. I agree that the railings should be the same, but don't have enough of the low railings (yet) to do both sides. And yes there should probably be a bannister at the top of the stairs although it's only one step down so not too big a drop !
Looks great 🙂
Thanks! 😊
Just put cheese slopes in sand green on both sides? Should fit perfectly and look clean.
Hi! yeah, that's a reasonable idea but I tried that but they are taller than the end of the curved slope and look really odd. I could try raising the slope by one plate but that would make the curve really thick.
You have done a great job in changing this building. It had great potential. I changed mine into a train station on the ground floor and a 2-storey apartment above. I moved the big window to the side wall. I think the low railings work best on the roof 😊
Hi Sandra and welcome and thanks for the comment. It will be good to see it in improved form back in the city. I would be interested to see your mod of the building.
@WelcometoEuphoria I look forward to seeing yours back in your city. I've loved watching your series on changing this building. Unfortunately RUclips doesn't have a facility to upload pictures (that I know of) so I'm not sure how I could share pictures with you.
@@sandra1620-ni Hi Sandra. Thanks. Yes that's right you can't upload pictures directly, at least not into Comments. You could do a short video for your channel 🙂or you could email me (email address is accessible from the 'About' info (under 'more' at the top of the channel) and press 'View email address' under Channel Details.

Now that's a haul!
Hey Wooootles, love your stuff! Not too bad a haul! Should let me get on now with my MOC project(s).
The car has to be a McLaren, I think... :)
Hi Joydivision, yes you’re right and my mistake. Just looked again at the original photo and it’s clearly the McLaren P1 set no 42172. Thanks for the correction!
Nice video! Really liked your PAB wall section. Very well done, and clear which parts are available. Note that you could have got more parts in the PAB box by stacking the bricks. It takes longer but you can probably get 10% more bricks in.
Thanks. Yes it’s true that you can get a lot more bricks in a box by stacking. But on this occasion I was in a hurry and also paying for parking which would have cost more if I’d stayed for longer. Still pretty happy with the value of the box.
What a wonderful experience. I’m glad you got to do that. It looks like everyone enjoyed themselves.
Yes it was a very enjoyable couple of days and a great chance to meet people.
Hello! It's Finn from the venue. I really enjoyed the video and loved meeting you and seeing your mocks!

Thanks - yes they worked very well.
nice video
Thanks and welcome to the channel!
good settup your channel;
Thanks!
Wouldn’t a big window work on the ground floor as well?
Hi Adrian, if you mean taller windows, then that might be possible, but would require some significant changes because the ground floor windows are constrained by the pediment below them and the rail that sits above them.
Hi do you have a Rebrickable where the instructions can be purchased
Hi Tishawn and welcome! So far I don't have a Rebrickable but anyway for this Mod I'm sort of feeling my way through it so I would have to reconstruct the changes digitally in order to make the instructions. All possible, but takes a lot of time :-). Sorry.
Skillz 🤩 Looks amazing!
Thank you! Cheers!
Loving the second floor , but why didn't you show it on the rest of the building?
Hi and thanks. Yes I did check that it fits but didn't film it. It will have to go into the next one, which will be all about top floor/roof. Please come back for that one :-)
Morning, very nice indeed as per usual. Perhaps a nice rug in small tiles in front of the fireplace and Chesterfield?
Hello Neil. Yes that's a great idea - there is defo rooms for that. Let me look in my little container of small tiles...
@@WelcometoEuphoria The day this building goes back on sale cannot come soon enough, but in the meantime I noticed Cole Brothers was doing 20% off the Boutique Hotel (which is my second favourite building far behind the Sanctum) so I ordered it, and now I am praying I have not made a mistake because I rushed this purchase instead of doing my usual very thorough perusal of the parts and instructions. There is also The Jazz Club at 20% off, but I am not sure if I should get it. I have to remember I ordered a couple of sets from the Bricklink Series 2 that will be needing to be paid for in 2 months, did you also order the Brickcross train station, its the sort of building that would look great in any town, even if you do not have rail track. CONGRATULATIONS ON REACHING ONE THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS! Have fun building!
@@neilrusling-je6zo Hi Neil. Over here in the UK we sometimes see 20% off modulars once they have passed their initial launch (so, some time around October) or if they're coming to retirement and retailers have overstocked. I've seen and bought both the Jazz Club and Boutique Hotel like that - they're in my backlog! ;-). Haven't done any of the BDP series yet as they seem expensive to me.
@@WelcometoEuphoria Afternoon, I DID IT!...I found the Sanctum for £144.05 at ASDA, so I have ordered it and would have ordered two if only I had not ordered the Boutique Hotel just the other day. I have found a Lego piece, and think it will look nice as decoration on a official building or old building, how would I accomplish sending it to you? The kids wont miss it, and I always have my eye out for any printed pieces and I am interested in seeing what you do with it. I know the local Town hall has things just like this at the entrance, but i will say no more so I do not ruin the surprise. Have fun building.
@@neilrusling-je6zo Hi Neil, congratulations on finding the Sanctum. I can't see it on their website so you must have found a local special offer! I'm sure you will have great pleasure in building that AND the Boutique Hotel.

Thanks for your interesting and well-argued comment.
The building is looking very good.
Hi Samir and welcome! I think with these improvement it looks much better. Now on to creating the next floor -look out for that coming up!
Excellent work, congratulations.
Hi Samir! Thank you very much! I'll try to update the channel on how it goes at the show.
Hi Max, great to see you’re finally taking the plunge with shows. This video is great and has given me some ideas. You’ve really showed me up for how disorganised I am 😂. The info boards are great and it’s really something I should do with my display. If you need to get new boxes in the future i recommend getting the Really Useful Boxes. The 83l and 43l take 2 baseplates quite comfortably and you can get them for a decent price at Asda and Argos. They seem to do the trick for me. Good luck with the show, you’re about to jump down the rabbit hole 😂
Hi Andy. Thanks for the comments and the tips. I should look into those RUB's - the ones I use at the moment are the smaller 9 litre A4 sized ones which are great for storing parts but not big enough for modulars. I'm looking forward to the show so we'll have to see how it goes :-)
