Caillou was my favorite show from PBS kids. I was born in 1999 so I've only ever known of PBS kids. Nick Jr. was a good network, Noggin I felt was too juvenile for me.

All the new crap on pbs kids needs to go. Sadly just like Nick, CN, Disney and Animal Planet, PBS Kids cares nothing for its older generation audience and has chosen to just pretend they were ever good.

My favorite PBS Kids shows are Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, Zoboomafoo, Adventures From The Book Of Virtues, George Shrinks and the 2009 remake of The Electric Company starring Priscilla Diaz

I was born in the P-Pals era of PBS Kids, and considered "Barney & Friends" and "Magic School Bus" my most watched PBS shows at the time, along with Lamb Chop's Play-Along, Shining Time Station & "Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?" on occasions.

PBS kids made up about 80% of my TV time during my childhood. The rest was dedicated to watching other kids networks like Cartoon Network, Nick Jr, Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channels. At a certain point after a while, I lost cable and it was only PBS Kids on weekdays after school and the CW 4kids on Saturdays. Then soon after that I could only watch Qubo. Thankfully by then, RUclips saved my boredom and practically replaced television for me. There were shows that I loved and missed the most like Arthur, Word Girl, Ruff Ruff Man, and Martha Speaks and other shows that sadly I rather forget like Boobah, Diddy Doodle Works, and most deadly of all the Big Comfy Couch. After discovering what Stephen King's IT was, I never saw the Big Comfy Couch the same way again and my fear of clowns was further cemented. It was just so unsettling after a while that I just flipped the channel to something else if it came on. However, I still love Teletubbies, Thomas, Barney and Sesame Street despite the ridiculous things people make of it on the internet.

Now the magical girl anime Sailor Moon is now owned by Viz Media the same people that brought and did the English Dub Of Inuyasha Over here In America And Canada And Viz media Actually did a better job of English dumbing sailor moon Then The first Two/Three Companies that owned it And English dubbed it Which Was The Dic And Cloverway And Pioneer Companies And Actually The Viz Media Company English Dubbed every single episode Of Sailor Moon Which was Two Hundred episodes Which was all five seasons of The show and also some of the Episodes were banned by The first three American Companies And The Viz Media Uncut English Dubbed Of Sailor Moon Is better Also Too.

Jim deserved so much better. He was on Nickelodeon before it was even Nickelodeon and they just dumped him and his studio, and then Disney treated him like trash too. Nick doesn't even acknowledge his role as Minus from Pinwheel. His story reminds me a bit of Will Vinton's story in a few ways. At least Jim didn't have his company stolen from him.

This makes me really sad, as PBS was a huge part of my childhood. Bob The Builder and Sesame Street especially. Though I have to be honest, although the Dash and Dot bumpers are super nostalgic, I wish they never dropped the P-Pals. From the bumpers I have seen online, they had tons of personality.

PBS Kids is still iconic and BIG American TV lore oh man I totally loved Seamse Street, Between the Lions, Wishbone, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Lamb Chops, Kidsongs, Kratts Creatures, The Magic School Bus and totally Arthur back in the 90's and early 00s.

I wouldn't say PBS Kids is "at a screeching halt". If anything, they have evolved. On the main PBS station they have scaled back kids content to mornings only, but that is because many affiliates have the PBS Kids channel as a secondary channel. PBS kids currently has 28 shows in rotation, with new ones being released every few years. They just launched a "retro channel" on most FAST TV services. They also have a Streaming app and Games app that my son loves. So while I definitely feel the video was insightful, I do not agree with the overall assessment.

PBS will always have a special place in my heart, for most of us this was our educational programming before the luxury of RUclips and was kind of like a “start” before you got into Nickelodeon and Disney definitely since back in the 90s and early 2000s, cable truly was a luxury and it was common for many families to not have it at all. For me, I was one of families who didn’t always have cable and spent hours watching PBS until I was about 6 years old.

I vividly remember when Toonami introduced me to Naruto. I was obsessed.

Between the Lions, Dragon Tales, and Clifford were some of my favorites way back when, and still are today.
