I either said it here or somewhere else, that Loppy was as bad as Moyes so never understood why people make out he s a lot worse, i suppose it depends how you look at things. To me there is no differnce they are both shit, and if you take the mentioned stats nto consderation it puts Loppy slightly ahead. obivously there are variables but...Now if Moyes returns i wll have all but had it with West Ham, will only be interested in the resuts. The biggest failure is certainly not getting rid of David Moyes it’s complacently allowing him to run down his contract the last 4 months wasting a safe period for a new Manager or even a filler to plan to rebuild a side that was heading down a black hole at the time. Expecting a new guy to take that mess, rebuild nearly a whole dispirited team inside a few months was always going to be an unforgivable risk. Doing so with a ‘suspect’ appointment with a DofF who had had his hands tied for the year he had been at the club and undermined regularly, geez even banned from his office was not just deluded and short sighted, it was shockingly crass and incompetent. But let’s be honest oh so Sully.

Why would Marco Silva leave Fulham for us? That's nonsense, Gary, isn't it. My feeling is that Tim will be sacked, Lope will stay, Sullivan will take on transfers again and we will rapidly be caught up in a relegation scrap. Will Lope get us out of it? Doubt it.

For the last half of last season, there was also the uncertainty over the contract, which naturally would have affected results. Loppy hasn't got that context. Have to say that tim steidten actually has a bit of responsibility in all of this. He has failed to influence the direction of the board on the managerial choice. He has also made some questionable buys and conducted himself quite strangly at times. Not impressed with him

However I think they are all pipe dreams as I dont think Lopetegui is going anywhere unless we are in the bottom 3. Your stats on Moyes are bang on, if you go back a couple of seasons the following teams all got something from the London Stadium: Brighton (D), Brentford (L), Burnley (D), Palace (D), Southampton (L), Leeds (L), Newcastle (under Bruce) (D) - this is when the rot started to embed in my opinion.

Sullivan is one of those old-style owners like Ken Bates... vainglorious chairmen who refuse to believe they are wrong. They continue standing by decisions, even if those decisions are patently not the right ones. They refuse the very idea they have made the wrong decision, regardless of the facts in front of them. And, like Ken Bates did with Leeds, Sullivan is on the same track to ruin... isn't there anyone on WH's board who could tell him no?

The list of possible replacements is one of the many reasons we should all get behind the manager and squad. Can't be any fun playing home games with its blend of silence and moaning.

Tim and Mo off to Arsenal in the summer where they will be insanely successful. Amorim relieved to been dumped by Sullivan. Any manager will be cheap/free. Absolutely no ambition. The entire club ruins talent both on and off the pitch. But Hammers still sell out the place every week. Sullivan/Brady are laughing in everyones face.
