      Anytime! We usually stop and jump out before it gets too shallow; about 1.5 feet, and insert a kayak cart underneath to get it out of the water. It is little tricky but def. worth it. Hope this helps.

      The 1810 Census shows 37 enslaved people in his household, who worked on his plantation and served in his house. The 1820 Census shows 9 enslaved people. Slavery ended in New York state in 1827, and the 1830 Census shows 3 free people of color in his household and no slaves. Hope that helps.

    Had one of these now for a few years. Use it with my paddle board. Great on the sea, but using on rivers you have to look out for weeds leaves and such like. The guard catches all the vegetation & blocks the prop. Have fixed a wire guard on the other side of the prop.

    • @aroundandabout2240
      @aroundandabout2240 4 месяца назад

      We were definitely how long battery last in choppy water. One charge usually last about 5 miles but same problem with sea weed in August. It just clogs the guard.

    All the venues are in great conditions and improved continuously. Last year they hosted the world university games and host world cup events in most sports. Nothing is abandoned. Yeah one team housing complex is now a prison. LP is the US training center for several sports and HQ for the Special Olympics. squaw Valley let it all go to ruins. Ski jump has new refrigeration, summer surfacing, cafe, store and dedicated gondola. Bobsled was rebuilt and has that beautiful training center with store and cafe. Hockey rink is also updated. Museum was remodeled, on and on. Not abandoned.

    Part Two didn't disappoint. Another "Well Done." The U.S. side of the Falls in many ways is closer to the original Niagara experience - not so built up. I LOVE exploring all the trails on Goat Island, the Three Sisters Islands - and taking an elevator to the base of the Shoelkopf Power Plant ruins, just north of The Honeymoon Bridge. Also "Devil's Glen" just south o the Robert Moses Power plant further downstream is a GREAT way to get right down to the shore of The Niagara River (which is really a Strait). 🤫😎 I'm going to post a link to your videos on "Hidden Niagara," my own Niagara video tour of the gorge on the Canadian side. Feel free to visit. BTW: Thanks for the plug for The Canadian Power Plant Experience. (That was my idea!) All the best & kudos, Niagara Glenn

    Very nice "You Are There" footage from the American side. I especially enjoyed the "Maid of the Mist" trip covering all three Falls. Give you a very good idea of what to expect- (As in - you'll get SOAKED - but you won't really care.)😄 Going to check out Part Two now. Well Done. BTW: The water is green because it contains "Rock Flour," tiny particles of rock, ground down by the erosive action of the "river." It's even more pronounced during the Spring run-off.

    Fun fact: the Maid of the Mist (the boat you were on) actually does that 360 degree turn due to the new motors on the all-electric vessels. They are actually the first of their kind in North America. The Canadian diesel boats currently cannot do that trick, which means it's something you can only experience on the American side of Niagara Falls!
