This is part 2 of my Sea Ark Sun Sport conversion into a cab catfishing boat. Im getting everything framed up for the flooring, all the hatch covers built and painting the outside of the hull. In the next video I will have it back in the shop and start working on building the cab.

I'll be Converting a Aluminum Sea Ark Sun Sport center console into a forward dual console cab boat. All the plywood under the fiberglass was completely rotten so i decided to strip it down and rebuild to suit my needs. This video is part 1 and i will upload more as i make progress. Update of the progress at the dove field from 7/6/22 and 7/15/22. The next video will be about a month from this one and I will start bush hogging strips once a week until dove season.
Remove and mount a tractor tire

Today i needed to remove a tire on my dads tractor to plug a leak. This tire has no fluid in it. If it has liquid in it its just another step. All you need is an adapter for the valve stem, something to pump the liquid into and a small pump.

This is the first update since spreading the seed on the dove field. This is about a week and a half since planting. We have gotten some good rain and warm days so they got a good start!

Man I just wanna thank you for the door design. I used steel tubing..but it works out the same. I did some modifications due to weight and had help from my engineering buddy. He's a fabricator and welder as well. Used to build rzr cages etc. He did recommend a kicker to take stress off the hinges. If I could figure out how to send a pic I would....mainly wanted to say thanks though!

It looks like you are just hanging that box from the sheet metal on the top. I guess as long as you don't put anything heavy in it it will be ok but those boxer need or ideally want to be mounted from the actual RAILs of the box
Do you still remember how much these boxes ran you on amazon?
I think they ran about $240 per box when I bought them.

Did you do any spraying? Like pre or post emergent?
@@1215cowboys I have not in the past, but I had a lot of trouble with weeds in the larger field last year. Im probably gonna try a pre emergent this year.
What was your seeding rate for broadcasting seed?
@@matchetman if I remember right it’s like 20 pounds per acre for broadcasting

No I did not. Just used fender washers and they seem to be doing fine.

Those bullet hinges are the best! I used them when i built tool boxes for my flatbed

What did you use for the door hinges
I used a steel bullet hinge and I welded mounting plates on them. One side of the hinge bolts to the ranger and the other bolts to the door.
What did you use for the door latches?

Is the handle at angle or is that an optical illusion? Where did you get the latches? Thx
It is at a slight angle on the door. It needed to be to line up with the plate and latch pin. The latch came from Morris 4x4.

Following the progress. I sprayed my 5 acre field Saturday in my battle against crab grass. This was our second spraying and its been plowed twice already. After the rains in May the crab grass jumped up so I am hoping this spraying will keep a lot of it away during the millet's summer growth time. I'll plow it, culti-pack it and plant it on June 11th. I'll likely do a video on planting day and follow up videos of the field growth. I like searching YT to find folks showing their dove field planting.
