I’ve never ridden the whole trail, but I’ve done the section from the Rinerhornbahn to Monstein a few times as well as the last bit along the river to Filisur. That climb up to the station at the end is a killer! Might be a good idea for a video to do the whole thing though!

@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland personally I enjoyed the start the most. Especially the downhill from Jakobshorn to Sertig Dörfli. The uphill to Rinerhorn is fun and more difficult than I expected.

It was a great afternoon out. I don't think even Sven knows what he was thinking. I think he was in the zone and just reacting instinctively to where it looked like the trail went.

Me too! For the most part you can ride tech pretty well blind, which is super satisfying. Jump trails on the other hand take me quite a while to get up to speed. The trails Sarah has shown us are so good, I even created her own playlist!

The downside of riding clipped in 🤣

I gave up trying to navigate with this a long time ago. Instead, I just use Komoot on my phone, which I think is a great budget alternative to investing in something like a Garmin. The only thing I really like about the Kiox is that it shows you battery percentage, which helps my range anxiety no end 😉

@@TrailTrackerSwitzerland Yes I think it does a great job and a huge improvement over the standard purion displsy for all things bike related but I think it relies too much on a smartphone to navigate and when theres no internet on the go it dosent want to play. I'm going to try and mount the kiox on the top tube for more of a slick look and get a stem cap mount for my isg gps 630 unit which once you can persuade it to work it does a fine job! Bloody technology.....

Thanks! Seems like Sirup got lost in translation 🤦Not sure what you call it in Canada. In the UK it‘s called squash. It’s concentrated fruit and sugar that you add to water to make a flavoured drink. They put a load of bottles in the fountain for some trailside refreshment for hikers and bikers.
