    I've lived in the back of my 2000 Cherokee sport for 3 years, I have the high density foam from Jo-Ann's laid diagonally across and I just store all my stuff on either side. I'm 6'2 and I have to bend my knees when I sleep but it's pretty comfortable.

    Can't believe I didn't visit Minyon Falls in all the years I lived in the Northern Rivers! Fabulous views from the drone shots. Nice work on the storage shelves. When facing the same dilemma - how to stop storage boxes falling off shelves en route - we chose either beading (quarter rounds) or rope. Saves a lot of weight and makes access easier. There were a few very large fig trees on the property. That may well be the one used by the women to lob rotten tomatoes - from a great height - at marauding blokes one equinox celebration!

    Really great to see 'home' again - and The Denizens of The Wood plus a few chooks. So envious of that rain but I guess The Denizens are well and truly over it. Looking forward to seeing the finished van and the trips you're planning. How about some comparisons between 'mobile life' in NSW and USA, especially with another person on board.

    Gorgeous! I have a few questions- What do you do with Halsey when you cannot take her on a hike when weather is hot? Also, would you consider doing a video on what you do for food / cooking and storage? You make it look so effortless. 😌 I hope I live long enough to travel full time. Until then, I’ll keep watching. ❤

    • @grahamjgreen
      @grahamjgreen 5 месяцев назад

      I mostly haven't experienced extreme summer heat in three years (except when I've been back in Kansas City during the summer) so leaving Halsey when I hike in areas she can't go hasn't been a problem. If it is hot, I don't want to hike anyway, getting soft in my old age. I'm going to be doing a video at some point that will go into detail cooking, so keep an eye out for it.

    • @grahamjgreen
      @grahamjgreen 10 месяцев назад

      It's not useless, the solution to the problem you describe is exactly what this video is about. Instead of trying to loosen the hard to get to bolts, you undo the bolts holding the bracket on which are much easier to get to, once the bracket is off you can easily remove the part from the bracket.

    Okay my bad I was using voice to text and I didn't proofread it because I trusted it. My bad. When I was referencing about oil pan gasket was that is not very easy to just drop the oil pan on every vehicle. You have to at least release the pressure off the motor mounts to raise the motor to get the oil pan off and while the oil pan is off your staring at the oil pump. An old pump is generally not that expensive so while it is staring you in the face it is so much in your best interest to change it while you are changing a leaky oil pan gasket. I hope that clears that up?

  • @randybonner9870
    @randybonner9870 Год назад

    I first must apologize but I have to respectively lmassoff and extend credit to someone who actually gets this . By this I mean that YT is covered up in videos telling people how to take the coil off and warning about how difficult it is because the two bolts holding the coil we'll have nuts on the back of it that will spin and it just extremely difficult to get to the left side of the coil bolt because the engine mount is just in the damn way making it a nightmare. I congratulate you on making a 5-hour nightmare into a 3-minute victory. Those wires on those two bottom both need cleaning anyway seeing that a person is replacing the freaking coil LOL when you might be experiencing coil and grounding problems it's okay to check connections for corrosion your working in that position. For example some people don't seem to understand that if you're going to replace your oil pan gasket and all we had so it takes to do that, you replace the oil while it is staring in your face. Generally not very expensive best chances are you'll be up under that engine or paying somebody else free soon will your oil pump goes out but you didn't change it while I was staring you in the face

    Why didn't you remove rear seat? Would allow the front seats to recline and possibly make the folding section easier to deploy/reset. If you ever get tired of having to slide the front seats forward, look into getting f'seats from a 2dr xj b/c they have tilt forward function... though stay with 97+ to avoid mounting differences.
