If everyone who lost a home would had a sprinkler system around there home including on top their roof majority these homes would have been saved, these people spent millions on their homes but not investing in water system is crazy, & course hill embankments should had weeds & brush cleared out at least 300 feet away from the homes to & that dummy governor should had reservoirs filled with water there is so much negligence on his part but its common sense to that if shrubs weeds are not cleared out away from homes homes are going to catch on fire.

You did a great job planting those pines, but I thought I heard the wildfires were being reported in the Hollywood Hills so I'm wondering if they survived since you had good irrigation and kept them well watered. I also watched your other videos about the diesel firehose pump you use from the swimming pool and if that had to be utilized and if so did it turn out to be as effective as hoped? I've been watching some amazing videos of brave people, even older ones in their 80's who stayed behind with hoses to fight the ember showers when the fires came near, or not so near since the high winds carried them aloft. Truly inspiring people for us all and good of them to share their tips and strategies with all of us, as you have done as well! Hope your okay.

@dieselmxtt, this no-bathroom-door situation mentioned at 4:26, I called them because I was thinking about booking and was told there was a sliding door. Did you see one after filming? hi, I installed a floating valve, attached to a PVC, attached to a hose bib, but the end with the floating valve keeps leaking, resulting in overflow. What valve do you recommend please? Also, do u install a pressure reducer somewhere? Thanks
