Spider-Man 3 - Venom's Original Death OST (Custom Music)
Просмотров 2 тыс.2 месяца назад
I set out to make a track that would fit perfectly with how the novel describes Venom's original and more brutal death. The video/pictures were just for proof of concept. Here's a list of where I made alterations to the music: 1. Venom hunts Spider-Man (0:01) 2. Venom stabs Harry (1:06) 3. Spider-Man vs. Venom (1:38) 4. Venom impales himself (2:13) 5. Never wound what you can't kill (2:58) 6. T...

Those Burger King toys were my favorite! Loved the game too
I just need to mention the very rare 'pegalocos' that was an exclusive promotion of Spider-Man 3 in Mexico by Gamesa
Say what you want about Topher Grace Venom, but you gotta admit his reaction to being an action figure was kinda wholesome😁 like he seemed genuinely happy about it.
I was 13 and Spider-Man 3 was the best thing ever
I remember getting that set from christmas
Dude that Mike Mozart clip just gave me so much joy. Loved that man’s videos as a kid!
Fantastic video, just subscribed.
what
I'm an old man and I vividly remember just how much merchandise there was back in 2007. A trip down memory lane.....
stfu about a plan, your just acting like a retard lol, your just a douchebag and your "plan" wont work, all you are is an attention seeking asshole.
I still have my Spider-Man 3 cup from 7-Eleven. I dragged my wife to the midnight opening showing and the theater was electric. Two people dressed up in red and black costumes were play fighting and it was so cool. The movie didn’t live up to the hype but I still had a great time.
I wasn't alive, but my brother was only a few months old.
Even PS3 logo!
Fun fact but in the uk at least the dark whopper was re-released a year later as a tie-in for the dark Knight
Boy, I was on the hype train at the time. And there were even some fan trailers by WormyT and fan posters that even today looks very unconvincing. All because of the teaser that appeared in the Monster House DVD. VENOM THE BEST!
THAT'S WHERE I REMEMBER LEARNING ABOUT IT. Memory unlocked
All due respect my man, you were like 4 years old lmao. Spiderman 3 had a large marketing campaign but so did the other two Spider-Man films, they were pretty comparable and likewise had widespread tie-ins, silly toys and marketing gimmicks, and so on. Your perception of its marketing being such an anomaly of grandiosity was most likely because of it being your first major blockbuster you were even remotely concious for. Spider-Man 3 was no doubt hotly anticipated with plenty of marketing, but all the same, we saw similar campaigns with the Harry Potter films, Pirates of the Carribean 3 and Shrek 3 that same month, Simpsons Movie, Revenge of the Sith, Cars, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Transformers and more. You also need to remember, this is Spider-Man we're talking about- one of the most recognizeable and marketable characters in history. The marketing material for Raimi's Spidey never truly stopped once the 2002 film hit. It was ALWAYS geared toward kids in terms of action figures, walkie talkies, web blasters, and more. It's fun how passionate you are about it. But I think your early childhood nostalgia for it in tandem with your deep dive into the merch, as well as not really being alive to have the proper context for these sort of releases prior to Spidey 3 has kind of warped your perspective into thinking it as being more abnormal than it was.
@ceejayfromsanandreas No, you're 100% right. But I don't downplay on what another person's childhood was like. Yeah, Spider-Man 3 was a lot of firsts for me. Yeah, there's more than Spider-Man, like Simpsons, Transformers, Shrek, and other properties. I'm simply living out my childhood and making what I always wanted to see. This is Spider-Man content by a Spider-Man fan, that's what you're gonna get. If my message is somehow misconstrued, I don't know what to tell you.
Wow look at you now with 14K subs!

harry never came to help in the original
@Puffoom423 He did, he just wasn't very successful.
oh ok
1:10 I enjoyed it i didn't have expectations I was just happy to see another spiderman movie in a theater.
I got this for Christmas
I remember some of this stuff from when I was 6 lol
I'm a year late on this vid but I too was completely engaged in the Spider-Man 3 marketing. TL:DR, I indulge in my childhood. I already loved Spider-Man from the first two movies on Full screen DVD & the cartoons comics available at the time. I'm pretty sure I first noticed the moody teaser poster when I looked up Spider-Man 3 one day on Google's I'm feeling Lucky tab. (I certainly don't use that feature anymore) & later on the equally moody teaser trailer right on my grandparents computer! (Does anyone download trailers anymore?) I was a happy kid. From there I'd journey on some fansites, not actually reading anything but admiring the promotional material wherever, like the Spidey chest posters. ❤❤❤ (One of these fansites was where I first saw the leaked Comic Con trailer with the scary Venom jump scare) l loved the trailers with the epic choir music but I also loved the trailers for the video game which were equally hype. (The game itself thou...) The main website was very atmospheric. Plus the Hasbro Kids website with the Flash games was my YT before YT & also where I saw that funny *THIS SATURDAY* commercial. (Really spoiled me cuz promotional websites started to dwindle during the 2010's 😞) I also indulged in Spider-Man 3 fan trailers which were my first exposure to RUclips & my crippling addiction to it ever since! (Thank gosh I was only 6 & didn't read the comments cuz I might've had a different outlook back then 🤔) Commercials were everywhere on YTV & comic books. (YTV might as well have been TV for me) For the toys I had the New Goblin & black suit + a suit up Tobey & Sandman (I got a large Venom toy after the movie I think) I even got the Mega Bloks builds after the film came out & wore the black suit for Halloween. (No I didn't replicate the dance scene. It wasn't a meme yet) Walking down the Spider-Man 3 section at Toys R Us was a delight. I couldn't believe it when the movie came out. Saw the film that Friday (I don't remember who I watched it with...) AAAANNNNDDD...I liked it. I saw it twice in theaters & watched it just as much as the first two on DVD. (no special features disc thou 😥) I kinda forgot about the marketing afterwards (As I assume you were supposed to 😆) I wasn't aware of the discourse until I watched Nostalgia Critic's top 11 stupid Spider-Man moments of all things. & watching videos from CinemaSins & other RUclipsrs alike. I wasn't prepared for the internet to shape my own views of movies & games. A pretty gullible trait in hindsight. Later on after the TASM hype, I started thinking about the trailers & how the choir music gave off a very different & darker vibe compared to the film itself. (Admittingly Christopher Young's soundtrack also played a part in that) It got me thinking about how different films & trailers used to be. Ever since though I've come back to loving the film on it's own merits, & fondly remembering the marketing campaign as well. (& I don't watch Nostalgia Critic or CinemaSins anymore haha)
PlayStation 3 felt oddly tied to that Spider-Man font on that initial release. Sony knew what was up. This is that dude you met at the mall today in that black car! Hope you’re having a rad day man!
And this is my content channel too!!!
@louisb.6149 Back then, before I properly knew what a PS3 was, the PS3 low-key pissed me off because it looked like Spider-Man 3, but I couldn't read it.
I remember owning a sticker album that EVERYONE in the neighbourhood wanted to complete. I was so close to completing mine (only 4 or 5 stickers missing), and it still pisses me off to this day.
man 3
I was only 6 in 2007 but i remember it so clearly. Spider-Man 3, The Simpeone Movie, Ratatouille, Transformers, Ghost Rider, Halo 3 etc. Great time to be a kid! I even got some black suit Spider-Man and Sand Man figures for my birthday that year 😎🖤
I had so much of this shit looking back 😭 I had the spiderman and dr octopus figures, the large size venom, goblin jr, and spiderman figures, the spiderman and venom mask with the webshooters, the spiderman laptop, spiderman camera, spiderman phone, bedsheets and all of the Burger King figures and was spiderman and venom for 4 years for Halloween. This marketing 100% work on kids
Settle down, son. 😐 NO! I HAVE NO INTENTION OF SETTLING DOWN! MY UNCLE KILLED MY UNCLE, AND HE’S STILL MY UNCLE! 😡 😡
1:41 It’s funnier when you know what Blastphamous was screaming about in that clip 😂
@@adriananimates7448 Finally, someone pointed it out.
Shout out to the pup
@@sleepy9102 Hell nah.
Honestly, the tone was so different. There was a dark, grim, introspective tone in the marketing, it felt like Requiem for a Dream, but with Spider-Man and the black suit instead of drugs.
00's were the peak of marketing for big budget movies, nowadays because of the Internet word of mouth is spread quickly and the marketing is focused on one liners and memes in trailers compared to the old days when it was epic music and action hype only.
Ha! It’s crazy seeing videos like this talking about the childhood nostalgia of the hype for SM3. When I vividly remember this stuff for THE FIRST MOVIE! Getting old is so surreal sometimes
Still love how Spider-Mania was at such an all-time high around the SM3 era that Sony even gave its next PlayStation the same look... and honestly it goes kinda hard despite how much nicer looking the subsequent rebrand from 2009 onward is The PS3 ITSELF is a Spider-Man 3 tie in
As a kid I always wondered why the PS3 had ripped Spider-Man 3 logo but now I know it was all a marketing stunt that lasted longer after Spider-Man 3's promotion already ended.
I still have a Spider-Man 3 poster from Burger King to this day 😆
This brought back memories, I remember being over the moon hyped about it. I just turned 13 and Spider-Man 3 trailers and everything were all around. The internet and the vibe was really different back then. Even the discourse online was dare I say more friendly among people, at least from my point of view. Thanks for making this video!
Bro i said it already and i’ll say it again, bros inner goblin is coming out 😭
