This is a mechanic that always annoyed me in Subnautica, tbch: There are more than one datalog entries to be found that talk about leviathan creatures attacking bases and structures. It's literally what causes the deaths of certain characters. And yet our structures as a player are completely indestructible lmao. I'm kind of hoping the sequel will introduce some level of danger to this mechanic.

The way mesmers VISCERALLY scare me is insane! I had *NO IDEA* they were in shallower parts of the map, so when I was swimming along and suddenly got the dialogue as I was heading for a deposit, I SCREAMED.

I remember when I first played Subnautica. Now I had watched RUclipsrs play it, I was knowledgeable, but the desperation to get things is actually so real because I needed parts and supplies. I went to the the back of the aurora hoping for cyclops parts and for the longest time I actually wandered around close to the sea floor without getting attacked! I was so on edge and pretty confused, actually. I got a few things and started to leave... *I was not allowed to leave.*

Fun Fact the Sea Emperor used too be Hastle towards the player in the beta when making the game but they later on changed it thats why if u see one of the OG trailers the Emporer was sneaking behind u indicating it was Hostle

In the lore, this guy actually made it to the island, however his only other crew mate decided to go to the Aurora… from the side. She died to a reaper, he died to a warped because it would’ve taken him 4 hours to go back to the island by swimming

I still can't wrap my head around a fact, that they also survived the landing just as we did but died few hours/days later due to bad landing location and other circumstances

Yanno, this probably happened to at least one person after the ship crashed. I can't believe that nobody survived the landing so surely someone grabbed a suit and tried to run for it when people started getting eaten by reapers.

Lifepod 3 could’ve easily swam for the surface and got to the island but they had to blow themselves up with a seaglide didn’t they
