Episode 39 Have you ever ridden a horse? - Endless Appreciation Podcast
Mr. Hurd puts forward a criticism that many share. I realize this video is 5 months old, but I think people are understanding the new lens design finally. It's just part of the way lenses are made now to make them lighter and cheaper. Software correction is another lens "element" just like the mirror was part of DSLRs. The function does not mean the final outcome suffers.
So cute..
What about when you bought the ball machine..🤣🤣👍 Pups worth Millions
Gnarbox lives on in this device. Glad to see people are still developing ways to get things done more efficiently on the go. Great video and thank you for your coding expertise.
still have my gnarbox… in a box somewhere! so far this is a far superior product, but time will tell.
It will be great if you’ll have opportunity to test 50mm 1.4 vcm
the distortion isn't bad, but there's literally no reason for me to use it when the 50 1.2 RF exists
@ and for people who don’t have any 50mm?
You used a camera for 10,000 clicks and sent it back? And you're looking for a thumbs up? You're a horrible consumer.
nikon sent me the camera to test, lol
😂😂😂😂😂❤

best review I have seen
😂😂😂😂 I love it.

Can i use this with out sending to Imagen AI or making account?
how will you get the editing done then?
I just leave my extra card in the camera.
As long as the final result is good i don't care how it got there lol
and this is how geriatric folks justify spending thousands for prints of midjourney renders.
@@iamsamhurdphotographyBetter than entitled folks purchasing camera equipment to "trial" and post RUclips content, only to return the items when they are through...
@@JamesBeau37 hmm, i'm not sure i see how that's a problem? i keep fewer than half of what i buy, and i'd actually be concerned if i kept more than half on average - no one confident in their craft is likely to evolve their gear list *that* often, but that doesn't mean it's not worth commenting on why something wasn't a good fit, and returned. way better than getting something free from the manufacturer and making a vapid review simply to stay in their good graces, no?
Ooh, I’m glad I found someone who enjoys custom automated post-processing workflows :) I’ve been building some of my own and this gives me some new ideas. Thank you!
glad it’s helpful <3
This is amazing but A full wedding at around 8000 images 40 times a year. Will be spending a fortune with imagine 😅
as said in video… on device duplicate detection is in progress!
You're a clever sausage, Sam.
hope it all made sense! happy to clarify anything
Klasse Teil für den Dackelrüden 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A lens requiring software corrections should cost twice or three times less than the greedy canon desires. I do not support their path to software corrections. such lenses are just garbage, let canon take pictures of it himself.
I fully support you. such distortion is simply not allowed for such money. The crushing shame of canon
WHATS THE NAME OF THAT MACHINE
Could you please list all mount adapters and grip extensions you used with Z f here with links? Thanks!

I’m also having that same second to last image preview when shooting even when not in flash mode. Really annoying because I always have preview playback off. I only ever glance and preview when I need to and of course it’s the second to last image so there’s a few times where I’ve made adjustments based on that image by accident and has ruined the next shot right after. Hopefully a firmware fix.
it’s so strange - also happens on my new r1
😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤ 👍😂👍😂👍
i bet they sell out bc this video, im biuying one right now
So, I have an xt5 and I was really interested in the Nikon Zf, but I was watching at almost all the reviews on youtube that talks mainly a lot about the specs. None of them made me want to change because at the end I was happy with my xt5 (except the af). BUT, I just randomly saw your video (thank to the algorithm), and your review about it is so factual and I don't know, like, different, makes me wanna buy one. My bank account thanks you o/
haha i’m sorry for your bank account, but i appreciate you taking the time to leave this note. i hope you love the camera as much as i do!
And it’s like that…every day, all day.
This is incredible
Yes what tool is this?
Speaking as someone who wasted way too much time trying to sort out the totally obtuse user interface on Photoshop 5 I've avoided Adobe products as if they were a McAfee product. So I have become quite familiar with NX Studio and it's features. Granted I didn't really pay too much attention to Nikon's de-noise feature until I purchased my Zf and found that it will make very good looking images with a Kodacolor 200 film like grain at ISO 51,200. Heck I have found that so useful that I now have ND filters for my 24-120, 50mm f1.4, and 26 and 40mm primes. Point is that if you turn off the noise filter you will see just how effective the Nikon filer is and as I also have DXO 8 I have to say that I think Nikon's filter produces sharper and more attractive results because the "grain" is nice and crisp where DXO 8 produces oatmeal in comparison. Point is give NX Studio a try on these Z8 files, you may find it's better than lightroom.
it wouldn’t surprise me at all if nikon nk handles these files much better than lightroom!
Perfect camera except one deal breaker! The sound of the shutter is unbearable.
Kool
Could you not run it through imagine AI culling? It’s free to do so and it applies a basic edit when reviewing the culled images, only downside is I think you can only review culled images in the app ?
not in any automated kind of way, yet
Thank you for the review, I didn't realize from other reviews I've seen on the lens how distorted that image is before correction. Personally, the reason I pay a lot for a lens is for the R&D, difficulty in making the glass perform, a flat, straight, high-quality image is where the money goes. To sell me a lesser lens, and use electronic, correction, is fine, but not for a premium price.
Absolutely incredible! The world needs to know how you did this! Are you at all concerned about paying for edits that you may never actually end up using. I could see this getting pretty expensive pretty quickly if you’re taking alot of photos on a wedding day
for sure - i’m gonna try and build out on device duplicate file detection so only 35% or so of what i shot gets sent
we got this for our dachshund and he had NO patience for this thing and would just scream and bark at it when it didnt launch it IMMEDIATELY
Thanks much Sam, your style of photography is out of this world
Got mine yesterday and am trying to load SSD's today. I'm with you Sam, it will be so nice to drop my cards in, back them up, and then have a NAS to work from be it wireless or 2.5GB. Now for us beta users to get the kinks ironed out!
super excited to see how it turns out!
Underexposed Nikon FTW! Makes the best images ever!!! My profile automatically boosts my images +1 to +3 exposure cause I’m always so underexposed!!!
Thanks for sharing your in depth review Sam! 🦄

heck yeah! so glad you found it helpful
