I had the same problem with my van a few years ago engine knock no one could fix it until a guy said it was injectors so he took the old injectors out and replaced them with denso injectors the van has run so good ever since touch wood. He did tell me that the injectors he took out were Lucas which were the wrong one he also put new code numbers in calabrated the new one 4 new injectors job done 2015 2010 2.2 120 bhp little tip only put good fuel in and injector cleaner once every three months don’t use supper market fuel

Had same from new. Went into citroen birmingham at 8k for service and told it's normal. Sounds terrible. Only covered 23k in nearly 3 years. Stopstart not working either. Fan also comes on randomly (without aircon on) and burning plastic smell from front. Only way to stop fan is turm engine off then back on. Tried getting extended warranty but costs silly money. (They know there's a problem ) ??

Definitely sounds and looks like an injector problem there mate. The shaking of the engine at idle. Common problems with these. I would get your garage to do an injector leak test to see which injector is not spraying at the same rate as the others.

thanks for the info. I want to do a permanent mains powered setup with enogh battery for 24 hours in case of power cut. The power drop should set off the automatic shutdown sequence of the heater in case the power runs out completely. I want minimal effort, but I will make a nice neat setup. Can you recommend a suitable battery and charger combination? Or maybe an off the shelf UPS unit? I live in New Zealand.

Hello there Harry Johnson, i got absolutely the same noise 😭 which is driving me crazy i bought my second BRAND new Citroen relay. The first one is 2018 2.0 and sounds much quieter than current one. The current one i bought in before 8 months ago and now i have done 31k milage and this noise appears early stage of the engine around 10k, and still going. I still dont have solution for the problem and the noise becomes louder and louder. Please mate contact me if you got any solution or diagnostic information.

Nothing wrong with the Bulldog for weight shifting. I did an hour xc out and return only weight shifting on one. Brakes only used for takeoff and landing. You're falling for grass is greener on the other side of the fence. And if you you're worried about bumps, you'll feel a lot more of them on the maverick
