VINTAGE 1950s GAINES MEAL DOG FOOD COMMERCIAL - STARBERRY KENNEL with COLLIES
The typical way for a 1950's commercial to sell dog food, was for the ad to showcase a kennel of ravenous dogs, or in some cases, a single celebrity ravenous dog (i.e. Roy Rogers dog Bullet.) This ad is showcasing the Starberry Kennel, which raises Collies, and they are BIG FANS of GAINES MEAL dog food.

Incredible that a consumer cleaning product is still going strong after more than 50 years, it is probably because it is a good product. Of course, I wouldn't know. I have never used it. I'm far too cheap. I go for the generic brand. VINTAGE 1962 DASH LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMMERCIAL
Просмотров 6 тыс.11 лет назад
This commercial is from a series of ads with the same character actor. For the life of me, I can't think of his name. This is a Dash laundry detergent commercial, with the character actor playing a washing machine repairman. According to the repairman, the machine broke down because the owner used soap that produced too much suds. The suds slowed the machine down to a crawl - supposedly. For mo...

VINTAGE 1959 INSTANT SANKA COFFEE COMMERCIAL

Sanka coffee was constantly seen on 1960's TV. Decaffeinated coffee was a synonym for Sanka. Sanka coffee may of had competitors in the decaf line of coffee, but nobody could name them. VINTAGE 1960 KODAK COMMERCIAL AT AN AMUSEMENT PARK
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.11 лет назад
Kodak really did some great heart-tugging commercials in it's day. What used to be a pioneer company in photography, is now hanging on to the rim of the economic clift. They never made investments for changing technology. Being on top for so long - THEY GOT FAT & LAZY (in my humble opinion.) Eu achei uma Parker 51 kkk É um modelo dos anos 90, pelo visto. Está em bom estado, dei muita sorte.

😍 We need 2 go back!
Here in lndia, Adult person and students loves to write Hero fountain pen, the copy fountain pen of Perker 51 Fountain pen . Although, Hero fountain pen is available in Cheaper price than Perker 51 Fountain pen in e-commerce websites. Also, Jinhao and lndian fountain pen "Oliver" have made copy versions of Perker 51 Fountain pen.
This is my new favorite RUclips video.😊
Nowadays, Spic & Span is usually found only in, of all places, dollar stores...
I don't think they even said the words "toilet paper" in, uhh, bathroom tissue commercials until 1976 or so, when a littie old lady claimed White Cloud "doesn't feel like (whispered furtively so no one could hear) toilet paper!"
"Drink this hearty coffee as strong as you like. It won't get on your nerves." (In fact, the original term for decaffeinated coffee, in French, was "sans caffeine," which was Anglicized to "Sanka.") What's more, since Sanka coffee traditionally came in orange jars and cans, that's why restaurant pots of decaffeinated coffee have orange bands and handles!
Technically, it was not yet a "Mercury" Comet. The Comet was originally to be sold as an Edsel, but when the full-size Edsel went out of production, it was sold as its own make through 1961. Note the announcer said "your Mercury-Comet dealer"...the Mercury Comet was introduced for 1962 as was the short-lived intermediate Mercury Meteor...
Treet...one of many clones of SPAM that came out after World War II...and one of many no longer found in your supermarket!
Ask Euell Gibbons...he used to endorse Grape-Nuts in the 1970s
Oxydol was the only detergent of its kind until Procter and Gamble launched Tide with Bleach...
Why do they have 3 call the burgers “ Pattie’s” ?? Do they have something against the IRISH ?. LOL ..
Instant Sanka was mentioned by Rod Sterling in the pilot pitch of Twilight Zone
Everyone needs salvation here are the words of salvation please forgive me jesus im a sinner come into my heart and save me from my sin I no that you are the savior and I no that you died for me on calvary and I no that God raise you from the dead and you are alive and I thankyou for your salvation in Jesus holy name amen and its important to always ask for forgiveness every night 🌙 ✨️ ✨️
the Queen of England still use one.
:47 hood trim doesn’t line up!
Man you drink this stuff you'll be in love with taco belle......beans and cheese be tasting like steak and taters ..can I gets an amen?
I am age 59 in 2021. When age six, my mother used this on the kitchen floor. Decades later she said it ruined the floor. I don't know much about linoleum. One year, the whole family worked to peel it off the floor with boiling water and metal tools. the stench of the black stuff under it was toxic. Might be what gave my mom the cancer that killed her. Kids reading this, laws can't protect you from all bad products. Learn what can hurt you before you use it.
I remember when i was a kid in the 60's and 70's going each year with my dad to view the new cars in showrooms. That was when the cars were re-tooled and looked different each year. One could tell the difference between a Ford, Chevy, or Chrysler product. The 59 Chevy impala and 65 Chevy impala SS were my favorites. Today, almost every vehicle looks the same. It's disappointing to see there is Not a whole lot of change from one year to another or one vehicle from another.
stylish curvy. should a kept my two hundred dolla rag in eighty one wow
This production has more artistry and content than today's "Closed Course" frenetic chases Thanks for the post of this timeless gold.
I saw that car on Bewitched
I had a '69 Caprice many years ago. 2 door HT. 350-300 HP. 12 Bolt posi. Great car! Pretty quick, too! If I get another Caprice, it will definitely be a '67, though. Love that body style.
They are hard to find nowadays
I have owned cars of all American makes. The impala 67 was the best car of all.
NOTICE AT 0:03 THE CAPRICE DRIVING HAS A BOWTIE ABOVE THE GRILLE. THAT NEVER APPEARED ON STOCK CARS.
"What's for lunch!?" "MAKE IT YOUR DAMN SELF!!!!" 😡😡
Hey there! Is it possible to use a short take of that video in one of my non-commercial video projects? I would really appreciate your help! Thanks in advance!
Howard Reig was the announcer at the end of the Gaines Meal commercial.
As an owner of a 51 vacumatic and aerometric I can say it really is the smoothest vintage fountain pen I own hands down
I'm just trying to figure out how long I need to cook this thing for
Parker 51 and 61, and Sheaffer Triumph-nib Snorkel are all very smooth-writing pens, that just glide over the paper with no pressure at all---unlike a ballpoint pen.
Once Procter & Gamble used to sell Tide and Dash both in Usa and Europe. In Italy in the late 60s we had a commercial that said "Nuovo Tide, fuori il grigio, dentro il bianco" (New Tide, gray out, white in). The P&G decided to separate them. In Europe the Dash and in Usa the Tide. But the detergent is the same.
The Chevy ugly years 55, 56 ,62 , 63, 67 and 70
have to disagree, the coke bottle shape of the 67 Impala is gorgeous. 55's and 56's bel airs are icons
Dummy
What year was this commercial?
I remember one from the 1970s and it had baby powder in it and it was a 2 roll pkg. Gotta have the 2-ply at least! lol.
Treet Burger hamburger.
when G.M Mattered. quality, performance, confort, safety was just coming up. Those cars of that era were practically bullet-proof. whether properly maintain or Not. NOWADAYS $$$$$$$
Back in the 1960s through the 1970s general motors at 50% of the American market other cars were great cars the Buick’s the Pontiacs the Cadillacs the Oldsmobiles they were great cars and people love them. And if you can find one of these cars be prepared pay a lot of money for them when they’re fully restored
never understood why they didnt keep the body style for at least 2 years... what a waste of resources and Ill bet the owner of the 66 was pissed..
It's called "planned obsolescence" so you "need" to buy another new car a few years later.
The best fountain pen design ever
Dad had this exact model and color Caprice. When the windows were down on the sports sedan (no b pillar) it really looked sharp. I tried to talk him into the fender skirts but I couldn't make that sale. Also could not talk him into the hidden headlights option - I loved that.
10 cups of coffee a day is wrong.
As a fountain pen user and collector I find the Parker 51 to be very smooth writing and a very comfortable pen for long writing sessions.
How do you rinse off soap without having suds in the rinse water?
i have one of those in the shed out back...........in 1973 my brother took it without asking my dad.........he blew out the front tires and put a tiny hole in the oil pan........my dad parked it and it was never drivin again......my dad died in 2003.......he left it to me and it still sits in the shed. i love that car. my dad was the only owner.
I hope you restore the car
If I came in the house like that at 0:07 I would have got slapped...lol....the mom should have made them kids help her...they deserve to eat that treet lol
Nosay Feliciano.
