I mean - you're taking it mostly out of context - I don't mind the speed but when its coupled with fasting moving enemies AND the blocking system is a bit whiffy with its timings - then it becomes a problem.

@@iamthegamingnerd I’m sorry you’re having that experience, but I haven’t been having that same issue with the game. Could be because I main vanguard and have a lot of parrying perks, but melee feels very fluid for me

@@S__team69 thanks mate - it's not as though I'm not enjoying the game though - it's fantastic - my 3.5 is only because it's short and I don't think the 6 replayable missions in end game are enough to warrant the current price tag.

@@iamthegamingnerd with PVP, and the upcoming horde mode, hopefully you feel like you get more of your moneys worth. I downloaded the game like a week ago and have been enjoying it more than any game I’ve played since like the halo 3/ mw2 days

@@iamthegamingnerd I use the sound blaster G6 and it’s just plugged in through usb. I’m just looking for a device that I can control and monitor my mic so don’t want to spend goxlr money as I don’t need all the features

Ahh but the elephant in the room is only if that's what you have experienced and after 1000+ hours the only negative impact I've had is the grip beginning to peel. So how can I add something to my review that hasn't happened to me? That would be lying.

@@iamthegamingnerd a simple google, reddit or RUclips search shows that it’s quite a frequent occurrence. Fair enough it didn’t happen to you, but you are providing a review to people which is essentially informing if they should be the controller. A disclaimer or something towards the end informing people that some have had this issue would be beneficial as probabilities dictate someone watching your video that buys the controller trusting your review will encounter this issue. As I said before, functionally aside from the battery life the controller is great. But the back buttons breaking and even the rubber grip on the bottom staining/peeling are common issues and people should be well informed.

@@KRISCHENATH sadly that controller is kind of old now. Nearly two years from release but be rest assured if anything new pops out I'll be grabbing it and reviewing it.

@@iamthegamingnerd thats actually pretty insane lol, those sticks have been documented to drift sometimes even in just 3 months, you won the lottery in terms of good sticks lol.

@@skyfire_swe8520 that's a fair enough question - I thought I validated in the video but I'll elaborate - I had enough fun with the narrative and the gameplay that I do think it's good but I'm just critical of the performance (it wasn't everywhere but noticeable for a AAA game) which could be updated to be better in the future. The gunplay is still a bit meh a long with fetch quests but as just said - I still had fun so it just peaks over the OK 2.5/5 rating. Hence my suggestion of wait for a discount. Does that help?

@@iamthegamingnerd Thanks for elaborating, in the end it's the reviewers own enjoyment that count! :) I did put the game down after about 12 hrs, thus my lower score. I might pick it up later if performance and gameplay gets updated. I actually went back to Far Cry 6 which performs great on ps5 and am having a blast.

@@skyfire_swe8520 Yes - absolutely it's different enjoyment for everyone - but as I'm my style is to still give the game a fair crack and not take in anyone else's opinions. Far Cry is nice but fall foul of the same problem - too many poor side quests and boring AI but I would like to give it another go one day.

bro Star Wars is so much more than the force and lightsabers lol. I'm sorry but if you were going into this game expecting that, this isn't the game for you. Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor exist and are unbelievable games. This is a different game and that is okay

@@pazTBH it is okay - I agree but I did get bored with just the one blaster. Picking up cool weapons off the ground only to drop them when climbing a ladder was a bit 💩

@pazTBH I did expect that, but Star Wars, since I've been watching it in the 80s, has always been about the force. They literally say may the force be with you about a million times throughout star wars canon so that's nonsense, really. That's my one complaint about the game and the redundant parts. It's stilll a fun game, though. I own both of those and played them. I would just assume a company as big as Ubisoft would have many more playable characters to make it a little more diverse. I'm not saying they are all force users, but give me some options

Starwars is not all about force users. I think this is a good view of the normal people.
