A wonderfully dark and grimm cello tune from "Van Diemen's Land", Jonathan Auf Der Heide's brilliantly weird directorial debut.

44 Inch Chest, Ray Winstone's terrifying performance which as always went completely unnoticed by film critics & such. Screw Oscars for ignoring this man this long.

Ben Kingsley - Are You Afraid??? (Suspect Zero)

Sir Ben Kingsley as one dead scary psycho (hello don, how's your brother?) in "Suspect Zero" (2004). Also in this scene: Aaron Eckhart amusingly screaming: Then cutta focking legs off!

The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce - Conolly's Monologue II

The world is always easier understood held at a distance, with tales of monsters and the like. This is how Alexander is remembered, not as a man. Yet few truer words have been spoken; A FULL BELLY IS PREREQUISITE TO ALL MANNER OF GOOD. WITHOUT THAT, NO MAN KNOWS WHAT HUNGER WILL MAKE HIM DO. (c)

The Limits of Control Flamenco Scene
:(
What can we learn from this movie? That people are far more important then possessions and we should never put anything above people or God.
1:03 to 1:07 its funny but not funny😂😂 🤣 poor willard
There is no better actor in our lifetime then Ben Kingsley
im gonna scream laughing
What a actor
Does anybody know the music in this scène?
Meredith is an interesting character Colin Diamond "What would you do?" Meredith "About what?" He doesn't seem to be interested in Colin's situation, he's just there for the kicks and the drama
I like a line the size of a Toblerone.
Incredible
This scene fucked me up. How did the nonsensical phrase "googly googly googly" become so heartbreaking?
No scene in any movie has brought me to tears as much as this. Sir Ben nailed this role.
One of my favorite movies of his
I always thought he was cute 🤭
I cried so hard when I saw this movie
I’m crying for totally different reasons as an adult watching this just imaging the bs my father and mother went through. I feel this girls enthusiasm but it was not the same as the relationship my “mother and father” shared. I only wish he’d received the proper help. He was really real and struggling.
He CAPTURED this character so well 😭
Man, this movie was great for 30 minutes, then got really rough for 30 minutes, and then shuffled around looking at its feet for 30 minutes before deciding to be over.
Brilliant Actor, I also liked his work in searching for Bobby Fischer.
The character of Deputy Burton is such a fool. The ultimate white knight.
Why lester burton goes to jail? He didnt do nothing bad
Keep in mind This is the same King James who had the Bible published in English
Thetes more Cants in this film than in rise of the footsoldier
Isn Mcshane made this film
this guy is just f*cking awesome
And like so many other times, the voters of the "Academy" left the deserving one empty-handed.
Very sad movie with a lot of lessons to be learned from it. 😢
This movie nearly had me crying and I’m a grown man. Such a masterpiece.
Where is the female dancer?
Not that I didn’t think Penn didn’t deserve the Oscar, but I was more emotionally invested by Kingsley’s performance here than Penn’s in Mystic River. “Pesaram” means, “my son”
He's the real traitor. All of the Stewart Kings of Scotland were Catholic before him. His mother was a devout Catholic. England was ruled by the Catholic Normans and Catholic Anglo-Saxons. England was founded by Catholics in 927. The Kingdoms of England, the Heptarchy were all Catholic. Many great kings were Catholic. By far the most courageous and strong English kings were Catholic. By the 1600s kings could sit in their little carriages and not do anything. But just look at how they were in the 1300s and 1400s. They were indomitable. Warrior king Edward III, valiant King "Harry" Henry V. Spoiled, vile, traitor to his whole family as well as to the traditional faith of the Isle.
The James Horner musical score really elevates the film to the next level. He's worked on a ton of quality films where this happens. His work compliments the emotion of the performances and subject matter so well. If it's good film it becomes great. If it's a great film it becomes a classic. Braveheart, Titanic, Aliens, A Beautiful Mind, Searching for Bobby Fischer to name a few.
This scene broke me 😢
Imagine getting your knxb cut off beacuse you thing the king is a bit of a cxxt.😂
the whole goddamned world brought me here
Please name movie. ❤❤
It's not a movie. It's a miniseries called Jekyll, written by Steven Moffat, who made Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, did another miniseries of Dracula on Netflix, and who was the showrunner for the seasons of Doctor Who revival with Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi as The Doctor after Russel T. Davies left. He also directed episodes of David Tennant's run like Girl in the Fireplace, Blink, and Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead.
Scene breaks me every time
So people do better acting than this to win Oscar!!! Lol
Режисером фільму є Вадим Перельман - українець. 💛💙
Ben Kingsley's best performance.

Done more than this.
So unrealistic! Persians run Beverly Hills. The junkie would never have been able to afford the house and the Persian Mafia would have taken care of it! Seriously.
"Hey son...when the other police come to help us...how about you don't point the gun at them!"
This is one of those moves that is exemplary, that I never want to see again.
Very underrated movie
"erst kommt das Fressen, dann die Moral" (Brecht, 1928)
A feel good film.
I'M ALMOST DONE!!!!!!😂😂😂😂
