That’s what made me sort of hesitate in that video, I was like “really? “Steal”!?” It was like the sword in the stone.. shoulda been free to the one who could extract it 😆

Luck really doesn't matter as much it's just a chance thing, but I think the chances of you pulling it goes up by like .10 present every attempt but if you want a pie there is one porta that has a 100% chance in the Nuka World DLC in the scrap yard

It was probably 10 minutes of spamming the button 😂. I was literally about to give up thinking it was just folklore … and then I looked up just at the right time to see it happen

@@HojiDaSquirrel i have about 3 or 4 on console. two of them took less than 3 mins. another in the diamond city bar took 6 mins. luck was upto 23. so maybe luck doesnt matter.

The only time I've seen synth disdain on this level was my own--for 90's VA synths.

@SHUTUPYAFACE and I wasn't trying to disrespect the guy who made the video but I know a little about synthesis and this synth is garbage it's a paper weight...I could murder this synth with a korg volca keys...

@@andykerass3695 yea there’s many different models, they’re all fun to use. My personal favourite is the Tonic. They don’t normally come with the rubber casing but you can get it separately.

Define “attack”. Are you talking about the slight portamento? I’m pretty sure I have an issue in my cmos.

Single mono input, so not "true stereo". The left and right outputs, however are stereo, in that it is NOT wet on one side and dry on the other. I would have to look at the schematic, but it is either a separate delay line on each side or else DRY with WET on one output and DRY with inverted WET on the other output (the wet signal would be inverted in phase between the two outputs).

@@rodgre The WET signal is inverted on one channel. If you sum them it cancels out the effect cmpletely.

@@SHUTUPYAFACE didn’t try that, but it turned out that the problem wasn’t with the 3340 anyway, it was a flaky single turn trimmer. Put the original 3340 back in and all was good.

@@SHUTUPYAFACE Also, with the rev G, autotune would slow down on this voice, and sometimes fail it, but most of the time it would pass.

Yea for being so simple it can create a wider variety of sounds than expected... like every eml synth I’ve used it also seems to excel at completely destroying audio in a good way with the ring mod too. I don’t have any cards for the reader but I’ve shoved some randomly punched business cards in there and it seemed to do stuff

@@SHUTUPYAFACE Fantastic! It surely sounds good and the sequencer-like stuff is an extra bonus. Maybe you could contact other owners for a picture of a card, work out the real scale and then print that on thin cardboard. If I have read things correctly in Marc Vail's Vintage Synthesizers the resolution of the programmable parameters is very low but I still love the idea of such space age technology. The CS70M had a sort of evolutionary next stage solution. It used a magnetic head to read paper(ish) strips. I still have strips with mine but the reader probably went south long before it got into my hands. :-)

Ahh you got me. The ce-300 only has a mono input and since the point of the video wasn’t to compare them it was just demoing the ce-300. I didn’t want to do a bunch of extra patching or cuts since this is just a CD-300 video.. the fact I turned on the j60 chorus was just because it was there so why not.

Follow up: I got mine this weekend and it's so killer. I didn't realize the input was only mono...which now makes sense to me why the Juno is in mono. I think this demo best captures this unit's sweet spot. So big ups!! :)

@@SHUTUPYAFACE Perhaps you're missing the point of what people want when they click on a video with that title. The BOSS CE-300 Super Chorus is supposed to be the chorus unit of the Juno 60, so a comparison of the two would be useful.

@@markwood3389 I never expected anyone to care because the ce300 is not the Juno chorus in a box, whoever said “it’s supposed to be” is clearly misinformed. I was selling this on reverb and thought “why not let people hear how good it sounds compared to something known for a good chorus sound”. Furthermore like my boss rce10 video I added in “Korg monopoly” into the title because that’s what I played through it... if you feel cheated for the minute it took for you to realize the video was about the ce300 then well, too bad

No, max delay time is 400ms (more with some relatively mods, but nothing close to even just multiple seconds).
