Home brew, the first batch
I haven’t made a video is a long time.
I was bored and curious to what my home brew is like.
I’m intrigued as to how the beer develops.
I started drinking this early and here is my review.

Love Divine, All Loves Excelling

Here is my attempt at Love divine, on the three manual organ at St. Chad's Burton Upon Trent. The organ was built by Peter Conacher and co of Huddlesfield. The organ installed in the church in 1909 (a year before the church was consecrated.) The organ is currently in the loving care of MC Thompson organ builders Ltd. I have had no formal organ training but aim to take up lessons in the future. ...

The Town Hall at six o'clock. The clock tower was originally part of the Saint Paul's institute built 1879. Th clock tower was given as the Town Hall when the council chambers (behind the clock tower) were constructed in 1883. The building was designed by local architect Reginald Churchill who was also a churchwarden of Saint Paul's church. The clock bells were all originally cast in 1879 by Ta...
The Tenor going up at Saint Paul's Burton Upon Trent

For the first time in around ten years, a group of ringers managed to get permission to ring on all ten bells although in this video just the tenor can be heard being rung. A cracked mullion prevents all ten this from being rung regularly. The tower of saint paul's has so much ringing history that if I put all on here you would be reading all day! So below I am going to outline some facts; 1)Th...

There has been a church on this site for over a 1000 years, although this church dates from 1719. The bells were cast in 1726 by Abraham Rudhall II and maybe were cast form the same moulds as saint Mary's Lichfield. The bells were retuned in 1903 by Taylors. www.burton-on-trent.org.uk/category/surviving/stmodwen dove.cccbr.org.uk/detail.php?searchString=burton upon trent&Submit= Go &DoveID=BURT...
Ringing the bells down at, St. Mary's Dunstall (viewed from the bell chamber)

The church was paid for by Arkwright (the mill owner) when he lived in Dunstall hall. The church is very beautiful and the tower almost has a French castle flavour to it. The church was designed by Andrew Capper. There are three bells at Dunstall although the tower is big enough to house five bells comfortably.(with alteration to the clock mainly) The bells were cast in 1853 by Whitechapel (mos...

The church was designed by Naylor of Derby and was constructed between 1903-05 and was payed for by Bass. In 1905 a 21cwt bell was placed in an eight bell frame, then in 1947 five more bells were added cast at Taylors (being called the "victory peal") This was also payed by Bass. There are still two empty pits, but non the less it is a very nice six and possibly one of the best in the country! ...

Bell Ringing, From Dunstall, Staffordshire
i love these bells
It sounds like the Lauterbrunnen church clock
This is some Bristol surprise maximus.
Glorious 6.
2:32 I was not expecting Great Peter to join in!
I like the clock chimes that play actual music or fragments from music(for example the Spasskaya Tower Chime or this one)
The clock chimes sounds exactly like the clock at Puerta Del Sol in Madrid, Spain.
What's the chime called plz?
I have no idea what is name is. Apparently it was composed by the organist at the time. It has a sequence called ‘Queens’ which hock is a well know call change sequence, in the method of ringing bells full-circle as we do in the UK.
these sound beautiful!! perfectly in-between D and Eb
the quarter bells the ding dang and the hour bell sound like the puerta del sol clock in madrid spain but here not have carillon
Britain’s longest clock chime
Those are some loud bells, you can also hear it outside of the church and they're still loud like this. 💒🔔🔔🔔🔊

These Bells sounds so nice
A madman loose in the bellfrey .
These will scare jinns demons and all evil spirits away..
They were put in back in 1995 If i recall there was no bells before then here.
The finest set of change ringing bells in the world IMO a honour to get to ring them back in 2011! 56 Bells total for info here South tower 14 change ringing bells 12+2 hung above is a 35 bell carillon extended from the original Nelson chime of 11. Over in the North tower 6 clock chime bells and the big guy himself Great peter who strikes the hours and is still swung manually most days for 5 minutes at midday. So 56 functional bells total I am fairly sure York minster now has the most bells combined over any church in the UK. And just for completion there is a Mini model ring of 6 in the ringing chamber. =)
I rang here 50+ years ago. A great big box to stand on for the tenor😂. Regular weekly practice nights back then.
The boxes are still there. No practice night unfortunately.
@@StevenBlakemore1994 it was a very active band of ringers. I must have been 12 or 13. Ringing chamber was always full on practice nights . Lovely ring of 10. Found this posting by accident and it brought back memories
Nice
Beautiful!! I love church bells. I ring them at my own church:. St. Thomas' in St. John's, NL, Canada
Hold on, is this clock partially motorized? I know the clock mechanism itself is probably still on a weight, since it still needs a pendulum to keep time, but the chime and strike train weight drums rotate _way_ too fast to be driven by weights. I’m not sure about that chime barrel though. Is that still weight-driven, or was that electrified too?
*When you realize this clocktower is older than the elizabeth clocktower*
hell, that clock and chime barrel themselves are older than westminster's!!
You helped me pull the 28cwt tenor off at buton lol
glad that st marys has 12 bells
I wonder why chime barrels play their songs more than once when activated
do bells peal
that tower has real bells
Is it me or does it double clapper a bit?
I think it went up wrong
Wait I'm confused. So York Minster and Beverly Minster are two different Cathedrals but they look exactly the same?
Yes they look the same but of course Bever!ey Minster is in Beverley
Beverley minster is older it was built a few decades before york minster was built
Also St Andrews cathedral in Sydney Australia look very similar I would say St Andrews cathedral looks more like York minster then Beverley minster does.
You made a meal of that didn't you
Richard Austin and Steven blakemore?
THIS TOWER WAS DESIGNED TO HAVE 8 BELLS
8 BELLS IN E
D / D#
This chime same in uw stout
That thing is so big.no wonder it works so hard.
What a gorgeous sound! The 9th and tenor have a lovely tone to them!

nice but i vote big ben more
Wonderful.....
Being from Burton originally, I have always loved All Saints Church Bells. A sound that takes me right back to my childhood in the 60's , 70's. I have these Bells on tape, recorded around 1984, you can here them in the distance, so you feel like your pottering about in the garden on a lovely sunny day, and there they are, playing in the background, .. comforting,..... warm,.... and just wonderful....
Learning Plain Bob Triples at the moment.
WOW YOU ALSO FILMED WITH THE BIG BELL GREAT PETER
Well, I don't think they'll be ringing this Palm Sunday, sadly ._.
or this one!
If you want to see Great John ringing from the tower this guy called PaUK16 has a video of him striking the hour
We want to see him swinging while ringing
Yeah Simon they are the 2nd heaviest ring of bells in York city centre
Great Peter is in the left handed tower and the ring of 12 are in the right handed tower
The left side is the north west tower & the right side is the south west tower
nice piano playing your skills go well with the location
