i wish that this stuff was in the manual... i have been trying to figure some of this out. also i have noticed that your machine is slightly different thank mine, your control panel is different, mine has wash and cure, cure, play/pause, and cancel, mine doesn't have the reset button? i bought mine shortly after it came out, wonder if it had a revision, although the cancel button will do the same
I think they did. I didn't buy mines shorty after it released though. But yeah, alot of information on matiainence was lost or ill advised
Hylia:”Oopies daisies. Sorry I forgot!”
😂😂😂
Thats cool as fuck man good jpb 👍👍
Thanks man! Now, gotta start with that code
Ooooh, that's sick af, now you just gotta sand and polish it
I think I'm gonna leave it as is. Tpu is hard to clean up like that lol
How’s she holding up?
Still works like a charm
solution: make the spring longer a longer and windier spring exerts less force
Hmmm there's an idea. I'll see what I have in stock. Thanks!
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 Yeah, no problem I saw another video a little while ago that showed how the longer something is, the less force it takes to deform it, so I just thought that'd work here

Welcome welcome
Looking good, Will!
Thaaaaank you!
Very impressive. Is this available in STL, and what do you charge for the files? I don't do much on Patreon, but I would still like to support you this way.
Hey man, thanks for that. This was a patreon exclusive because my patrons requested it so it's only available on my patreon along with all with the rest of the months rewards
Then when I get paid I will see what I can do. I know it's not a lot, but I have to watch my pay like a hawk. I will check back with you on payday.
@@ChefDansHookah no worries. We all have to watch our pennies these days
Tip: Resin doesn’t stick to the backings of stickers or silicone mats. If your curing station doesn’t have uv lights to cure from underneath, you can use those to put tour prints on. Question: wouldn’t uv resistant clearcoat achieve the same result, meanwhile protecting the model from yellowing?
To answer your question, I use to do that. But it never got that glass like surface finish
@@wilatheroicstudios2466Thank you for the reply. That’s too bad, i would love to have that glass like end result for some objects… Maybe it’s just not possible with printing and i will have to resort to printing, making a mold and cast it with casting resin to achieve that glass like object. 😔 I like your result though, i was just hoping to get an even more perfect result. Oh well… I guess it’s not the end of the world if it’s not 100% perfect.😅
just discovered your channel, great content! i had a question, i used siraya clear and my print, whenever i clean it up, i get white spots in crevaces. will this process help clearing these blemish or do i have an other issue? thanks!
Sounds like your wash needs to be swapped out. If you use clear resin it may clear it up, but i think what's going on is your wash might be dirty enough to deposit uncured resin on to it.
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 that's kinda my issue, on my second print i did a first clean under water, in a clean recipient and the same bleemish appeared right away. my tank an iso were cleaned and new. :/
YOOOOOO THE LIGHTSPEED MORPHER?!?
Gotta show lightspeed some love!
I saw on Patreon that this was the welcome gift for March only. Is it still possible to get this? This is great!
I've actually moved it to the welcome gift permanently for all new patrons along with a few other things
Huh
???
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 nor a clue what this I'd about
@@mitchellkeiser9135 that's okay. Other people know what's up lol
Thank you bud! worked like a charm :)
No prob bob
my prints tunr our pretty yellowish, is there something i can do to prevent that?
Unfortunately that may just be the quality of the resin. You check out my follow up video to this. Might help ruclips.net/video/mqVZYfbP8O0/видео.html
YEah, I got same crap happen after UV-curing. I will try same thing just putting the model outside on sunlight. The UV curing might be too harsh for that cheaper transparent resin.
Do you need to sand it ?
You can to clean up imperfections and such
Hm...might be a stretch, but... Have you considered making the Decade Driver?
Negative. Would be cool though
@wilatheroicstudios2466 morphers turning out good btw. Painting the shells now. Worth the money.
@@PepsiChips87 nice! How are you liking it?
@wilatheroicstudios2466 It's turning out pretty good. Had to redo certain parts because they aren't as smooth, though--you must have a better printer. My cousin has a resin printer, so we're thinking he's gonna handle the coin housing since it's clear.
@@PepsiChips87 I had a few bouts with it actually. Had to really tweak my settings. Gonna be upgrading the design hopefully soon
cool its easier to just hold a small model and dip it in some resin and hold it while you rotate and cure it or you can just skip the resin and use the clear coat.
awesome!
for the colored prints did you brush on clear resin? or clear colored resin? 😅
You can do either or. Same result
With blender I worked in fusion for 4 months, I understand what you want to say, fusion has dimensions and is accurate, but should you learn to work with dimensions in blender? I hope that I will soon learn to work in blender and that I will never have to go back to fusion, and what if you make a 3d model in fusion and want to put a texture on the 3d model? you won't be able to do that in fusion anywhere near as much as you can with blender
There's a way to add texture in fusion but it's a much bigger work around than in blender. I did it with a few files of my own
So, whats the lowest tier to be able to get access to this...?
It would be the $8.50/month [hero tier] to get this in the welcome gift
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 Word. It's Morphin' Time. Er...it's about to be.

@wilatheroicstudios2466 all good now!
The thor thing is addressed pretty thoroughly in Ultimate Invasion#1-4/Ultimate Universe#1, I'd say.
Yeah but this is an entirely new ultimate universe. Does that apply here??
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 Yes, Ultimate Invasion and Ultimate Universe #1 aren't about the original Ultimate Universe despite the fact some would argue they were falsely advertised as such, even the first issue of Ultimate Invasion features Earth 6160 Peter Parker being prevented from getting bit which ties into this comic. The whole introduction in the beginning of Ultimate Spider-Man is actually what I'd call a story that took place in Earth 6160 before it, though most might argue it's more so setup than a story unto itself.
Outstanding work!
Much appreciated! More painted prints on the way
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 I'm into scale modeling myself. Not the same but airbrushing to perfection is what we have in common. Also my weak spot for Green Ranger
Great video, gonna try it to see if it makes my clear prints better. Question: You cure it once with the UV lamp, then again but with your cure station. What is the difference? I don't have a UV lamp, but I have the Mercury X Wash/Cure. Does it matter if I cure it in there for the first pass?
The secondary cure is to make sure you have all the surface cured. The 360 in the cure machine ensures you did that. Using a lamp prevents it from being cured to the surface. Use a silicon mat
Tried and tested method. And no need to apologise for the UV light; it's not going to come out of viewers' monitors and phones to hurt their eyes :)
Lol thanks!
Thanks Wil!
You are welcome! A video on how to maintain and clean it is coming up soon!
Issue #2 Of Ultimate Spiderman Comes out end of the Month. If you want a video on that let me know!

Amazing video, I think bondo filler primer is gone now, so using resin is a great idea, also the gold black combo looks so authentic/roman
That was my aim. What do you mean by gone?
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 it’s discontinued I believe
@@jacobcastillo5688 oh wow. I must have the last of the stuff I believe lol
How did you sand your piece before adding this brushed in resin. Also does any uv light work?
I didn't sand anything. If your supports are on point then they just fall right off. I have a video for that lol. And yes, any uv light will work. Including but not limited to the sun lol

Wil, Well done! I really appreciate your videos and am a big fan. I've been learning to Airbrush 3D printed stuff since the beginning of the year and watching a ton of videos. I highly recommend Barbotos Rex ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=barbatos+rex as a great resource if you haven't seen his stuff yet. I am curious about your cleaning step since all the videos I have watched so far just involved submersing the nozzle and paint tub under water and spraying, then covering the nozzle and spraying some more. It seems a little easier and has kept my air brush clean. I need to upgrade my compressor (I got one w/o a tank).
Hey man, the cleaning method I used was outlined in the instructions that came with the brush. I just followed what it said. I've seen people do what you said but wanted to follow the instructions outlined on this because I'm a first timer. Also, thanks for becoming a patron!

You just defeated the purpose buy cleaning both of them in IPA.
Yeah, which is why I don't do it anymore
But the new new school is a bed slinger called the A1
I agree completely, and I'm one of the new guys. But I didn't start with a Bambu, or K1 or any of that...I started with an Ender3 V2 for Christmas. But I'm a tinkerer. I fix things myself. Do I like the idea of a Bambu? Yes, when I want to just complete a model. But I like knowing how it works.
I agree with this. Bambu, ankermake, k1, all great printers, but I'm more interested in how they work. If I need a model done I know they're reliable which is great. But what to do when it breaks down
@@wilatheroicstudios2466 The only frustrating thing with the Ender3, is how slow it is to print. I read about people printing benchys (because who hasn't printed a benchy...) in 15-20 minutes when this thing takes an hour or more...and I gotta admit, I get envious. Especially with other prints that are either similar time or a multiple of 4.
I agree 100% that we are not at the point where your expectations are that your printers don't need tinkering ever, but I think 2023 was a big step towards getting there eventually. As an old school nerd/geek who's been into 3D printing (FDM) for 5 years I am excited by the new breeds of printers and LOVE my X1C + AMS. It's good to see the hobby moving from "you have to be a tinkerer" to get anything done w/ a 3D printer to "You have to at least have access to someone who can help you tinker". I can tinker, but It frustrated me when I had to tinker with my E5+ or any of my other printers constantly. The new printers are more complicated but when my AMS broke after more than a year, I was sent replacement parts, and followed their guide. Tinkering with it was the exception. Also, resin printing still feels like clean room, hazmat suit, witchcraft to me. I have a resin printer and I got 1 print off of it and put it aside. Maybe this will be the year I get past my anxiety and get comfortable with it!
I agree. I love all the new features coming with these printers but I also get worried about how to fix it when and if these things go, and they will go. Resin printing is my Forte. I love it. Though I have put those printers on my garage. Messy, sometimes frustrating but the rewards are well worth it. If you need any help with that let me know
holy crap. why has nobody else mentioned this???
Beats me 😆
Thank you for great vid showing how thing are done! Some questions if i may: 1) for color transparen print you later use clear resin or the same color leftovers? 2) after reading comments here your method now is to print, skip wash, cure, apply another layer, cure in water. Did i get it right?
3) have you tried to print clear resin but later apply color resin? How does it look?
Hey buddy, thanks for the questions. It the resin only matters if it's the same color or clear. If you're printing with clear green, you take it from the build plate and cure it right away for the same effect. Or wash it, cure it, or use a clear or a green. However, I found a better, less tacky finish way to do this ruclips.net/video/mqVZYfbP8O0/видео.html
This is an incredible way to do this. Armor Smith is great, but you cant see the file like you can in Meshmixer. Thanks for the info!
You are very welcome!
I have a question I bought a new m5s and it’s not printing any of the items I put on the usb can you help me please
How so? Is there an error message on screen? Did you check the uv light to make sure that comes on?
That's cool!
Thanks man!

Glad i could help! Content has been slow but I'll be picking it back up soon
Haha!!!! SMOOTH AS EGGS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!👍😁😁 Liked and subscribed
🙌🏼🙌🏼 much appreciated!
It's the least I can do,I am newish to printing, and I thought because I dabbled with a ender2 that I could jump up to a anycube kobra max2. Let just say it's been a learning experience.😅 But my little demo design came out looking great. Thanks man, keep posting and I'll keep watching.
@@davidforsyth4338 yeah?? The kobra max is a huge step up. Temperamental at times but she's a good printer after a bit of some tlc. I reckon the more the print breaks down, the more of an opportunity you have to learn and understand how it works
