Dear Dude, 'Any Slob with a Ink Printer, a eBay empty plastic slab holder, and a good color copier can do fake cards if they want to rip people off.' For this very reason, I'm thinking about taking things a step further if I myself, decide to slab some of my own cards. What I am thinking I may do, will be to purposely create a slab, that Includes my name, and state a grade, then back it up via the included data, with how I came to the score. just thinking out loud...

Kinda wow, the way I bought this card back around 2015-2016 from some poor soul at my now defunk swap meet. Yes, I still have it, though its not a 10, but a 9 certainly, but at least I know it's real. The Rule: I keep telling folks; ** Imperfection is now Perfection, for all the genuine now is either Uber expensive or just depleted, ...* for Scammers {{Love to create that near perfect printed and copied card to create Thirst, then they Hustle you and move on while saying ; Insisting even, that they did Na Know..' - And Yes, it does suck to get taken for a fool friend, but in my experience, that is how you learn. Everybody has a story in their Past that ends just like this one did, and all they needed, was a Wife once up on a time.., lol.. ;)

If you sold the Jordan as a reprint some a-hole would just turn around and try to sell it as authentic.

My number...sucks. I am new to this entire hobby (collected when I was a kid, just back to it in July), and I really appreciate this advice. I will try to grade the card myself before sending future orders.

I have a book of Jordan cards that i have been collecting since late 80's. I probably have over 200+ seperate cards of him and can only imagine what the book is worth. I feel no need to have them graded because it seems like a pain and im not 100% sold on the grading system. If i could take them somewhere in person then i would consider but not by mail. I do love to pull the book out every year or so and look how awesome some of these cards are.

I have the same 1996 Topps Kobe, mine got a grade of PSA 8. I believe it's a 10 all day there is nothing wrong with it so I cracked it and I just re-submitted it

yup... don't submit crap unless you just want a graded card that's not going to be great. I did that for several wemby cards because it was the only card I had of that type. Sheesh is super hard to get perfect 10s. When they cut it they leave metalic slivers on the edges. If you try to cut them off they will know and you get slapped with an 8.

Did it ever seem too good to be true? Did you ever scratch your head and think damn this Jordan looks like it was printed with ink jet home printer and the slab is light as shit and doesn't weigh anything and is missing the PSA label and it took u 4 days? Then u still think dude didn't know? Then you say you don't know if the card is fake but the slab is????? Do they put real Kobe rookies in fake PSA SLABS bro really? That would be a failed business model

PSA goes so hard on high pop rookie cards of this era. Even the cleanest copies arent worth submitting. At best you get a 9. At worst they damage your card. But im looking forward to the resub results

PSA is always changing slabs . They are overrated. I remember seeing a lighthouse lable 1988 Gators Emmitt Smith in a PSA 10. It was counterfeit the copyright logo was missing.
