T4E (Training for Engagement) is a brand of Umarex that provides law enforcement agencies and departments, security firms, and military organizations with complete training platforms that are economical, authentic in weight, feel, and function. T4E training guns provide the most realistic training experience with the least cost possible so that officers can train more and spend less. Training with a T4E platform provides quality training and reinforces reaction to real-life scenarios.
The paintball marker pistols and rifles offered by T4E are chambered in .43 caliber which allows marker gun platforms the ability to be made within the physical constraints of duty rifles and pistols. T4E trainers are highly effective less-than-lethal training tools with very similar external physical attributes as duty weapons.

T4E Walther PDP Optic Ready Paintball Marker with Trijicon
The Walther PDP from T4E : Training 4 Engagement, is an optic ready handgun in a paintball, rubberball, powder ball configuration. Remove the cover plate and use the included OR plates to match your chosen red dot, like the Trijicon SRO in this video, and mount it directly the pistol. If you have a holster that accepts the PDP with an optic it should fit it. This how to video shows the simple steps it takes to add the dot sight to the slide of the PDP. If you lose the plates Umarex offers them as an accessory item that work both on paintball markers and airsoft guns.

How many joules is it?
mine keeps leaking the CO2 after I slap the bottom of the magazine...
In our experience, there are 3 main reasons for leaking based on where the leak is and how old the mag is. 1. The most likely cause of leaking is the screw at the bottom of the CO2 is not snug before striking the button. This will usually leak around the neck of the CO2. 2. If it is leaking through the top then the valve has gone bad most likely from CO2 being left charged in the gun for a long period of time. 3. If it is new and you've checked the screw to make sure it's snug then it could be a defective mag in which case call our service techs to discuss warranty options.
Could you put steel balls on these
Might check in with folks that offer steel balls since we don't offer them (in the U.S.).
What kind of handgun is that
Walther
@rayluse744 ok that is a nice handgun
Thanks rayluse744... we have a selection of marking handguns, a couple with blue slide, others in black. T4EGuns dot com.
Great job brothers
We were just glad to be part of it. Thanks for watching.
How to release the gas
The best way is to "shoot" it in a safe direction without projectiles to deplete the gas. Once depleted, you should be able to loosen the set screw plate inside the mag to free the cartridge.
@@t4ethanks, ended up figuring it out finding the release pin. You can't unscrew it while pressurized even a little but... Have to release the pressure first
👍🏼
Why the silicone oil? Is that absolutely necessary? Ive used one Co2 cartridge in the standard magazine so far and didnt do that. I just got my quick pierce and was watching the video to see how tight to tighten the retaining screw.
Using silicone oil helps to extend the life of the o-ring and when placed on the tip of a cartridge, we recommend every other one, helps to lubricate the internals for smooth operation.
@ I went ahead and ordered some on Amazon. Thanks for the quick reply!
And Steele 😂
Steele. Hmm.
I want one SO BAD! I’ve been shopping your site and had several models of the T4E in my cart many, many times. One time it sent me a email saying it saved my cart and it would give me a % discount to sign back on and buy, but when I signed in there was no discount.
@-ius-6502 assuming you're in the U.S., here's a discount coupon code good only for you this month: 8924LTD
But can you edc the pdp?
It's a full-size handgun, so it may not be the go-to for an EDC firearm for some... this video shows a PDP for training and recreation but you knew that we suspect.
I got one I’m fired at yet. The only thing I didn’t really care for was trying to get it loaded that is a pain in the butt. They really need to rethink that they may think that’s pretty easy but if you’re an old guy trying to keep up with the times that’s still pretty difficult and I don’t care if you’re a young guy
Thank you for the note on loading. Will pass it along to the product people. We hope that after you load it a time or two with the included loading ramp that it will get a tad easier. =-/
This shows how excellent T4Es are for real life scenarios... and for movie scene rehearsals 😉.
Thanks for stopping by!
@t4e The honor is mine.
its an great tool for self defense
T4E is great for training and recreation. For self defense, we encourage you to check out our sister brand, P2P Prepared2Protect.com
Yesssss 🔥
Right on!
Is there any danger of paintballs to explode inside the shotgun? At how many joules would it be a problem? The online site in my country only reccomend rubber bullets..
There are 2 variants out there, one is rated 11 Joule for standard paintball and the other a 16 Joule version. The 11J version normally will not bust paint unless the paint is of lesser quality or has been compromised by hot or cold temperatures. The 16J version will most likely bust a majority of paintballs--powder/chalk or rubber balls are recommended.
Do these chop the Umarex branded paint less?
These guns are hard on paint. Use a heavier shelled paintball, yes ours fall into that category, or use a winter/cold weather formula, or other brands that are designed for magfed markers. The TR 68 works really well with rubberballs, first strike rounds, powder rounds, or hard .68 cal ammo.
1k likes it is 👍
Thanks!
ever a back stucked and created an orange mess?
That can happen. Keep paintballs in climate controlled areas as a starting point to deter that.
@T4E Can you provide a rough estimate of decibels produced when firing this?
using a dB meter on a mobile device gave us a 100.8 dB peak reading
ruclips.net/user/shortsGbMcM3zFXkg?si=tbRH7BAyaPjeajSb We use the t4e pistols for our danger simulator
What a way to train! Thanks for sharing.

Gotta love some T4E markers. Get the bang for the buck
Gotta love the fans! Thank you.
for anyone who's cartridge that isn't pricing you need to twist the black piece about the push button
Thanks for making the notation.
above** & no problem
I saw your video. And i purchased it..... just got this bad boy today. And I love it. Thanks for the recommendation.
Made our day! Thank you.
I cannot get my ppq m2 quick pierce mag to seal the co2. I have tried silicone oil, tried tightening the screw loose, snug, tight and really tight. A little gas leaks past the seal no matter what I try. I am using umarex co2 canisters. What am I doing wrong? Or is it possibly a defective mag?
How to buy this thing
You can get in US at T4Eguns dot com
can backstraps for a real M&P fit on this? I brought mine living in the European market and Mine did not come with extra backgrips
I believe they are different because of the spring in ours to help eject the T4E mag. Normally there is the Small and Large back strap extra in the case with the gun. We thought this was the same in other parts of the world but not 100% as there are sometimes differences in the model offerings. You may be able to contact our office in Germany and purchase the back straps. www.umarex.com/contact.html
Do you guys plan on releasing any more t4e modles ? How about that t4e beretta 92
Don't know about a Beretta. I'll have to ask around.
@@t4e A Beretta 92 would be amazing!
Can u do the same for the hk416 T4E?
Yes, they were made the same. training.t4eguns.com/t4e-tm4-bolt-carrier

I use it since release for magfed paintball without any problems and i love it 🔥10/10🔥
Oh that's cool. Thanks for your support.
whats teh efective range??
Sorry to tell you that this item has been discontinued and sold out.
Is it able to shoot the pepper balls
T4E markers are made for training and recreation; however, it has been found by 3rd parties that they can shoot most .43 cal rounds you can find online. If they don't work well or they burst inside the pistol T4E is not at fault for that.
Own one, love mine.
Right on! Thanks!
ever had stucked .43 balls that creates a mess since you own your Glock? How long does a CO2 capsule last?
@@accountname1651 never had stuck balls even once yet. a co2 capsule can last like 5 magazine fulls maybe 6.
Сука ну почему в России нельзя эту вещь купить?
Спросите свое правительство. Ask your government.
Can’t buy it in Chicago either I guess we’re both upset 🤣
@@Tartpacheco Guess that makes three of us.
is it legal in california?
It's a paintball gun so good to go.
California has a sticker for everything, so nothing is legal. Oh yeah, TAXES!
Is there a difference between the TX68 and HDX68?
The P2P: Prepared 2 Protect HDX it an orange and black unit made for home defense and uses pepper balls. The T4E TX 68 is a black paintball only version that comes with cylinder that accepts 2 x 12 g CO2 capsules
@@t4e thanks! I am probably gonna see if I can get my hands on the P2P HDX for home defense. I want a secondary non lethal option to protect the family. I have the HDR68 already.
@@t4eI have a p2p orange with an adapter for 2x 12g co2.
Eu quero como faço pra adquirir??
Pesquise on-line. T4Eguns.com
Can u field strip it?
It does not field strip like the firearm. The slide is not easily removable as there is normally no need to for any maintenance underneath it.
How in the world do you change the pistol grips, the pin is in tight, how much hammering does it need ? Thanks
The instructions on changing the VP9 grips are on page 12 of the manual. The pin should be removed from right to left as it has the serrated end on the left side to lock into place.
Now I can live out my fantasy of pretending to be in the western paintball episode of Community. Hell yeah!

Funding for LEO training is critical to preserve the rule of law. These are great tools for that. Cheers, Umarex! Nicely done!
Thank you. We appreciate the sentiment and fully agree.
Nice stuff, good for home defence considering it is .68?
Thank you. We recommend visiting our sister brand, www.prepared2protect.com for home defense options. Their "coming soon" shotgun is a viable option.
Can you reverse the magazine release for us left handers like on the real steel pistol?
It is reversible. It has 1 keeper spring in place and the release can be removed and reversed. We do not have a video right now but it is a fairly simple process.
@t4e yup, once I had the backstrap off I figured it out.
